Thank you.Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be doing a short recap of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 Episode 2 that is currently on Disney+. If you did not answer the question of who was at end of the last episode meeting with Peter Parker, that individual was none other than Norman Osborne. They made Norman Osborne black as Harry Osborne was made black. It could have been possible that Norman Osborne was white, and his wife was black. Instead, they made Norman Osborn black. That is interesting to say the least. That is fine as he is still Norman Osborne. He has that sense of entitlement and arrogance that makes him Norman Osborne.
Norman Osborne offers Peter Parker an internship because he is impressed with Peter Parker’s intelligence. Peter Parker accepts the offer to do an internship with Oscorp industries. Peter Parker would love nothing more than to work with robotics there.
Peter Parker tells Lonny Lincoln about the internship and Lonny tells Peter; you should be holding the trophy. Peter Parker will later tell Nico and Pearl will find out at the football game. Peter Parker needs to leave so that he can get to the internship on time. Peter Parker will meet kids that are around his age.
