In this episode of Mattacritic; I will be reviewing and analyzing Star Wars Andor Season 1 Episode 12 that is currently on Disney+ done by Lucasfilm. I will go over several topics in this episode. I will give you my rating at the end of this episode. The name of this episode is Rix Road.

The Rix Road will deal with the funeral of Maarva Andor. The Empire blocked the road and created a section of the road for the funeral. The Daughters of Ferrix wanted a funeral and to pay homage to Maarva Andor. Cassian Andor will return to Ferrix to pay his respects to his mother but do it from a distance. Cassian will find out that Bix Caleen has been taken by the Empire. As one of the people told him, the Empire believes that she has something. Cassian decides to rescue Bix Caleen.

As one of the people told him, you want to take out an entire garrison. It would be insane, but he knows he does not have a choice. Cassian knows that Bix is there because of him. He must rescue her and free her from that prison. Cassian knows what it is really like to be in the clutches of the Empire since he was working as a slave to build whatever they wanted him to build.

Vel Sartha and Cinta Kaz are on Ferrix looking for Cassian Andor to help Luthan Rael to kill Cassian. Luthan is afraid if the Empire finds Cassian Andor, he could ID him, and that would be bad. Luthan is the reason the Empire is feeling the heat from the citizens. Luthan knows that his identity must remain a secret from the Empire if the rebellion is to be successful.

Anton Creager will end up walking in this trap that the Empire has set up. It will be a blood bath. As Luthan told Saw in the last episode, Anton Craeger is worth the sacrifice. It will allow the ISB to think they are invincible and that nothing can stop them.

B2EMO will have a recording of Maarva Andor who will be encouraging people to stand up to the Empire. She tells the people of Ferrix that they have been asleep long enough and it is time to wake up. It is time to stand up to the Empire and fight them. The Empire does not like this, and it will create the distraction that Cassian Anor will need to rescue Bix Caleen.

Mon Mothma questioned Perrin, her husband, about his gambling. She knew he had a gambling problem. She told him that this was not acceptable as the Empire could be looking at our accounts. This needed to stay in Canto Bight. Yes, Canto Bight which was shown in the Last Jedi and which I reviewed the book on this channel. Her daughter will be meeting with Davos Sculdin’s 14-year-old son which was mentioned in one of the episodes recently.

The episode will have twists and turns and it will help the viewer understand more about why Cassian Andor joins the rebellion. It will also answer questions and it will set up Season 2. It will bring the viewer to the climax of this season. I will not reveal anymore.

I will give you, my rating. I give Andor Season 1 Episode 12, a 10 out of 10. It was fun, but it does an excellent job of keeping the viewer engaged. It will show the nature of war and in war, there are never any pleasant decisions. It will lead to the seeds of the rebellion. There will be an after credits scene in this episode and you do not want to miss it. It is especially important not to leave the episode before it is done. Like a MCU film or show, you want to watch the credits to the end of the episode. You will know what it is. What was the after credits scene? If you know the answer, please leave your answer in the comment section below. Please give your thoughts on this episode and let me know what you thought about it in the comment section below. As stated before, please be kind and respectful of each other. Thank you.
