In this episode of Mattacritic; I will be reviewing and analyzing Star Wars Andor Season 1 Episode 10 that is currently on Disney+ done by Lucasfilm. I will go over several topics in this episode. I will give you my rating at the end of this episode. The name of this episode is One Way Out. Now on with the review.

The episode picks up where the last one left off. At the prison at Narkina 5, Kino and Cassian are discussing their escape. Kino is hesitant, but Cassian tells Kino that they need to do it tomorrow. Cassian tells Kino that if we wait, the Empire grows stronger. Cassian tells Kino that the Empire is afraid. He tells Kino that the Empire did what they did out of fear. Kino said that what the Empire did shows their power. Cassian told them that is not power, that is fear. Power does not panic. If you know you have control over your slaves or prisoners, then you do not need to exercise that. Cassian tells Kino, the longer we wait, the stronger they get. We cannot afford to wait. Cassian tells Kino, we need to hit them when they are weak. They are weak. As he tells Kino, there are more of us than there are of them.

When Kino and Cassian get back to their cells, they let the prisoners know that they are not going to get out. The rumors are true, a guy the Empire released on 4, they put on 2 and they killed all the prisoners. After that mistake as the doctor told them in the last episode, they could not afford to have that happen again. The doctor told them no one is getting out. The doctor was walking with Olaf, and they had him in a body bag. He told them that he was lucky that he had a stroke, he would die peacefully.

The Empire is looking at Anton Crager trying to find him. As the ISB was planning to do is to stage the spacecraft as an accident. The accident is to be used as bait. They hope by doing that they will get Anton Crager to bite, and he will come to get the wrecked spacecraft. This is what a person would use in fishing. When a person is trying to catch a fish, they use bait to lure the fish so that a fisher can catch it. The trick works in that they got Anton Crager to get the spacecraft. They are using a tracking device to find where his headquarters is.

Mon Mothma is meeting with Taye and the person whose name is Davo Sculdun that he recommended for her to meet. This is the person Mon Mothma called a thug not a banker. Taye tells her, we must find a way to hide your money so the Empire does not look at where it has been going. That person tells Mon that he will not charge her for anything. Mon tells him that she will pay him, she does not want to owe him anything later. He tells her that he wants his son to date her daughter Leida. This means that he wants an arrangement with them, getting married in the future. She tells him that she does not want to go that route.

The escape will happen according to Cassian. As the last episode showed, Cassian was cutting the pipe in his cell. He figures if he does that and gets enough water to go through the cell it will flood the floor and it will cause the electrical circuits to fry. If you remember your basic science, water and electricity do not mix. It can cause a problem.

There is a spy in the ISB that is working for the rebellion. Luthan Rael will meet him in this episode. Who is the spy? If you know the answer, please leave it in the comment section below.

As not to be revealed anymore, nothing more will be revealed here. It does bring the viewer to the climax of this episode and set up episode 11. There will be 2 episodes left of this season and if they are good as they have been so far, the audience will not be disappointed.

I will now give my rating. I give Star Wars Andor Season 1 Episode 10, a 10 out 10. It was fun but shows if people come together like in this episode, there is no telling what they cannot do. It is important to remember that when fighting an enemy, you must be willing to stick it out and even when it gets hard, you must stick it out. The prison escape in this episode was well done and if you have not seen it, once you do, you will not be disappointed. It was well done. It will be like escaping Riker’s Island or Alcatraz. The prison is remarkably like what I would have referenced in my episode 8 review of this series like the prison in Captain America: Civil War. It shows that sacrifices must be made and as Luthan Rael told his spy in the ISB, we must let the ISB capture Anton Crager. If we tip Anton Crager off, then your cover will be blown. This will be necessary so that he can get the information they will need down the road.
