In this video and blog post, I will be reviewing and analyzing She-Hulk Attorney at Law Season1 Episode 4 that is currently on Disney+ done by Marvel Studios. I will go over several topics in this video and blog post. Now on with the review.
The Name of this is Episode is this not Real magic? The Episode starts off with Donnie Blaze performing a magic trick. It has Madisynn which spells her name differently. Donnie performs the trick and sends Madisynn to Nepal where Wong was in the temple watching the Sopranos. Sopranos is a show that went from 1999 to 2007 and you can stream the show on TV. Madisynn spoiled the episode that Wong was watching and that did not make Wong happy. Wong is angry to say the least.
Jennifer’s dad wanted her to get a security system after she was attacked by some gang wanting to get her powers. As Bruce told her in the first episode, you are a superhero and having powers like these puts a target on your back. She told her dad that she will not put a security system in her house. She is a Hulk as she told him, and she will use her powers to protect herself.
Wong later goes to Jennifer Walters after Donnie Blaze was messing with things that can be dangerous. Wong tells her that there are forces that we do not understand. We answer to a higher power. Jennifer asks him, did you get an NDA? Do you have that in writing? He said, no. Jennifer tells him, here we do things by the book. Wong says the book of behenate. Jennifer tells him, the book of American law.
Jennifer signs up for Matcher to see if she can get a date. Nikki tells her, the way your profile picture looks like you are going to an online seminar. Nikki asks her, do you not have any other clothes that say you are not going to an online seminar. Nikki tells her, you could sign up as the She-Hulk and see if that gets you a date. Jennifer tells her, I want to see if I can get a date without being She-Hulk.
Jennifer goes on the date with this guy, and he is a drag. He is not paying attention to her, and he makes her feel that she is not important. Jennifer tells him that she is a Hulk, and he blows her off. The date was a disaster and not worth doing again.
Jennifer later goes to court with Wong and Wong has her bring Madisynn to help with the problem of Donnie Blaze. Madisynn tells the Judge that she was transported to another place. The Judge says that Donnie can keep practicing until the next hearing says otherwise. Donnie claims that his livelihood would be affected if he could not practice magic.
Jennifer decides to go on a date as She-Hulk. She realizes that being plain Jennifer Walters was not getting her a date and she decides to change her profile picture with She-Hulk. She realizes that she went out with this amazing guy who is one of the guys down the road. On her first date, she tells him, that she can bench press a ton. He tells her that he can bench press 600 pounds without superpowers. One of the guys that she dates down the road, tells her he is a pediatric oncologist. He is good looking, and he got wine on his clothes. She gets interrupted by Wong.
Wong tells her that they have a problem that they need to deal with. Jennifer decides to help Wong as Donnie Blaze released a whole bunch of Demons from another realm. Wong says that they need to be taken care of. Wong tells Jennifer to be a Hulk. She-Hulk smashes them, and Wong puts them back to where they belong. Jennifer asks Donnie Blaze; do you agree to stop practicing magic by signing the cease-and-desist order? Donnie Blaze says, yes, he will.
As not to reveal anymore, nothing more will be revealed here. It does bring the viewer to the climax of this episode. It was cool when the episode began when Jennifer talked to the audience, you guys must be excited that Wong is back. It was cool to see Wong in this episode.
I will now give you my rating for this episode. I give She-Hulk Attorney at Law Season 1 Episode 4, a 10 out 10. It was fun and keeps the viewer engaged. It does an excellent job of mixing magic, legal drama, and comedy with the Superhero in this episode. Wong is his typical himself and lets you know that there can be consequences when magic is not handled the way it needs to be handled. Having an NDA or a written contract is important to protect oneself from having others use your secrets for their own gain. If you created the product or the content, you want to patent it or copyright it to protect yourself. This is important to do. People can reference something if they know they are pulling from something else.
