James Earl Jones is amazing as he had to overcome so much. He had a stutter like President Joe Biden does. Both men had to overcome so much. Once James Earl Jones overcame that, he became one of the best actors ever. In my mind, his best role is Darth Vader. His voice is golden and if he could do the voice, he should do it. It is amazing, if you compare his voice to A New Hope and the Obi Wan Kenobi series, it sounds the same. One of the other roles I enjoy, James Earl Jones is the Lion King. When he plays the voice of Mufasa, it is brilliant. Mufasa was the benevolent king of the Pride Land, and his brother Scar is jealous of him. Scar kills Mufasa because he wanted power. One of the other roles that deserves mentioning is James Earl Jones playing James Greer. He is great at this role. In both Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger, he shows how strong he is in this role. Especially in Clear and Present Danger, he tells Jack Ryan to watch Ritter like a hawk. The actors that worked with him like Mark Hamill and Kevin Costner love working with James Earl Jones. James Earl Jones was born in Arkabutla, Mississippi and moved to Michigan later to grow up. Like I mentioned before, he had to overcome a stutter before landing on Broadway. He played roles in plays such as King Lear and Driving Miss Daisy. Jon Favreau who worked with James Earl Jones said that when James Earl Jones asked him a question about what to do in the remake of the Lion King, he told him, do what you do. This is something that I read when I looked at it in USA Today. If I worked with James Earl Jones, I would have loved to work with him. It sounds like who was a good guy to have a good relationship with. If a person thought another person could do Darth Vader justice with the voice, I do not see anyone right now that could do the voice like James Earl James. I will give you an example of any actor who has been the voice of a popular character for a long time. My answer is Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime. I will play James Earl Jones voice playing Darth Vader and Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime to make my point. I will pull from a New Hope as Darth Vader and have you watch a clip James Earl Jones voice as Darth Vader from the Obi Wan Kenobi series.
