Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. I have now changed my brand from Matthew Hemenway to the Mattacritic. Whether you watched me or not, I do reviews of books, movies, and TV shows. I do detail analysis of them, and I will let you know what I thought of them and give you a rating at the end of the review.
In this video and blog post, I will be reviewing and analyzing She-Hulk Attorney at Law Season 1 Episode 6 that is currently on Disney+ done by Marvel Studios. I will go over several topics in this video and blog post. I will let you know my rating at the end of the video and blog post. Now on with the review.
The episode starts off with Jennifer Walters telling Nikki Ramos that she will be going to her friend’s wedding that she has known a long time since high school. Her friend’s name is Lula. Nikki wants Jennifer to put on the suit that she got from the fashion designer Luke. Jennifer says she will not what Luke gave her in terms of a super suit. As I would have told you, Luke is like Edna from the Incredibles. Luke has that attitude that Edna has in the Incredibles. He is Marvel’s Superhero fashion designer.
Jennifer is going to a wedding. She is the one the bridesmaids for her friend Lula. Jennifer is wearing the dress and is going to the wedding as She-Hulk. Lula asks Jennifer not to be She-Hulk. Jennifer tells her, this is about you, I will be just Jen, Attorney at Law which is the name of this episode. Jennifer later runs into Tatania. As was shown in the last episode, Tatania told Jennifer that this is not over. Tatania was using the She-Hulk name to sell her trashy products. This will lead to Tatania and She-Hulk having another fight. It makes sense as at the end of the first episode, Jennifer stopped Tatania from destroying the court room. She did that when Tatania was flying in the air doing a flying sidekick. Jennifer punches Tatania and puts her down.
Mallory Book and Nikki Ramos represent a man who is Immortal and was married to 8 people. 7 of 8 are women and the other one is a man. As he told Mallory and Nikki, when he got tired of being married to his spouse, he would fake his death to get out of the marriage. He would make it look like he is dead, but then he would be able to walk away literally. There are those that do fake their deaths so they can get of certain scenarios.
Jennifer meets this guy who is a friend of the groom, and his name is Jacob. Jennifer gets asked by Lula to help with cleaning up the wedding as some of the staff were quitting. This is getting crazy as it feels to me that Jennifer is doing more than others. The wedding will have a fight with Tatina and Jennifer. Jennifer was drinking quite a bit. Tatania sucker punches her. Jennifer told Tatina that she promised her best friend Lula that she would not turn into She-Hulk. Tatania tells Jennifer that this is no fun to fight you unless you turn into, She-Hulk. Jennifer struggles to change because of the alcohol in her system. She does change into She-Hulk, and they start to have a serious fight. They cause damage to the stuff in the wedding. Jennifer’s cousin Ched is there as the DJ. Ched says, all right a wedding fight. Everyone is shooting videos with their smartphones. Jennifer as She-Hulk beats Tatania up. Tatania is embarrassed and tells people to stop shooting her.
Mallory and Nikki find hateful stuff on the internet after they helped Mr. Immortal to get the settlement with his ex-spouses. He was lucky as they told him that you were lucky that you were not criminally charged for what you done. The hateful stuff on the internet is She-Hulk must die. It was unfortunate stuff that can happen on the dark web or on social media.
As not to reveal anymore, nothing more will be revealed here. It does bring the viewer to the climax of this episode and set up Episode 7 of this series.
I will now give you, my rating. I give She-Hulk Attorney at Law Season 1 Episode 6, a 10 out of 10. It was fun and did an excellent job of mixing a wedding drama, comedy, lawyer, with the superhero in this series. The wedding drama reminds me of Revenge of the Bridesmaids. It tells an exceptional story and keeps the viewer engaged. The planting of the seed of Tatania and She-Hulk being rivals makes sense. I also know that there is another threat that is looking to get Jennifer’s blood to make another Hulk. As Bruce told her in the first episode, we cannot take a chance that this blood can make another one of us. If it gets in the wrong hands, it would not be good as it would have severe consequences.
