Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be a doing a short recap of CW’s Kung Fu Season 3 which is currently on Max. By the end of the 2nd season of Kung Fu, Zhilan sacrifices herself at the end of the 2nd season to save Mia. She ends up in a wasteland where she will meet Simon who she killed in the 1st season. She wants to protect him and the others from the harvester. Zao will use Pie-Ling as a vessel to come back. Zao is the villain for season 3 of Kung Fu. She wants to be able to come back and take over the world. She wants to control people by using mind control. Henry Yan will be finishing what his father started. He is on a quest to find what his father was looking for.
Nikki Shen finds out that Pie-Ling is back but will learn that she is possessed by Zao. This means that she must find a way to get Zao out of Pie-Ling. Zhilan redeemed herself and has been doing her best to fight for people instead of hurting them. She wants to apologize to Pie-Ling for killing her. Pie-Ling wants to apologize to Zhilan for accidently killing their father and then running from Zhilan instead of facing her and making amends for what happened in the past. With them both apologizing to each other, this helps them to move on and spiritually they can be at peace.
Nikki Shen must do her best to stop Zao and Delta Security which will be important to Zao’s plans. Delta Security wants to create a police state where cameras can be everywhere to spy on people and quote keep people safe. That is a farce, this is a means of control. Henry Yan will need Nikki to rescue him from the people who were after him as well as Henry Yan being suspected of murder. She will and they both find out that Henry Yan has powers. He has compass powers. This makes it interesting.
If you do not get near the end of the 3rd season, you will wonder what happened to Mia, but it does get answered. What happened to Mia? Please leave your answer in the comment section below. Thank you.
