Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. Before I begin this episode, please subscribe to this channel and hit that notification bell to be notified of any episodes at the bottom of this video or blog post. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing the Disney Channel Original Movie Right on Track which came out in 2003 that is currently on Disney+. Why am I reviewing this movie? There are several reasons why to review this movie. This movie deals with the story of Erica and Courtney Enders that went into drag racing. Drag racing is where a car races down a track, and that individual must get his or her car across the finish line. It is not like NASCAR racing where they go in a circle. That individual goes down a straight line and must get his or her car across the finish line. The league that Drag racing goes into is called NHRA which stands for the National Hot Rod Association. When Erica Enders first races was when she was 8 years old, she races in the Junior division of the National Hot Rod Association. Her father was Greg Enders, and he was a great drag racer. There is a scene in the beginning of the movie where Erica Enders is 4 years old, and she was in her dad’s car, and he had to get her out of the car for him to get ready to race. She gets challenged by a couple of boys that tease her about being on the training wheels of her bicycle. She tells them that she can beat them. She races them and she does beat them. I will explain more as the episode continues. I will give you my rating at the end of this episode. I hope this episode will inspire you to read, watch, and learn.

Rest of Review and Rating of Right on Track

As was mentioned before, the movie Right on Track deals with the story of Erica and Courtney Enders. Erica Enders was born a racer. She has skills that cannot be taught. As her father Greg Enders tells Erica’s mother and his wife, only the best drivers have that. In her first race when she was 8 years old, she won that race and yes, she ended up beating the boys. She was the only girl at the time when she raced the boys in Houston, Texas. Houston, Texas is where this story takes place. The idea of a female drag racer was unheard of at the time when Erica Enders raced at the time. Courtney Enders will follow in her sister Erica Enders footsteps. Erica Enders inspired her sister Courtney Enders to get into drag racing.

The movie will jump 7 years later when Erica Enders is 15 years old and going to be 16 years old shortly. How I know this is that she will test for her license later in the movie and most states have people get their driver licenses when they are at least 16 years old. Her dad Greg Enders tells her and her sister Courtney Enders that you can race out of state if you have straight A on your report card. If you have Bs you are racing in Texas only. Any Cs, you can forget racing. They both agree to his terms and promise that they will get straight A in their classes.

Erica Enders will race against Jordy Knowlton and his father Rusty Knowlton will tease Erica Enders’ father Greg Enders; your little girl will not cry if she loses. Erica Enders races against Jordy Knowlton and loses to him. Erica Enders is frustrated by this as she hates to lose. Greg Enders tells Erica Enders that you need to go and shake his hand. Erica Enders tells her father that he is a jerk. Her father reminds her that it does not matter if he is a jerk or not; win or lose at the end of the day, you need to be the best person you can be. Erica Enders will end up shaking Jordy Knowlton’s hand. Rusty Knowlton tells her, this is not for little girls, why don’t you do us and the sport a favor and get out now. This attitude is still here as there are males still that think that females should not do things that they perceive are only done by males. That attitude is wrong, and it is unfortunate that it is still here today. Her father Greg Enders agrees with Erica that, you are right, they are jerks. There are those that think they ought to gloat if they win and have that arrogance that they should win all the time. It is happening now with how MAGA claims if they do not win all the time, it is rigged against them. They will gloat when they do win. They are sore losers and the good thing about sports is if you take about competition teaches and learn how to win and lose with grace; it will make you a better person. If you do not do that, you become a bad person.

Erica Enders will be in her room later and she is testing her mental speed with a device that does that. She is not pleased with it. Her mom Janet Lee Enders comes in and asks her, are you going to be this every time you lose. Erica Enders tells her mother that she hates to lose. Her mom tells her, you cannot win all the time. Her mother is pointing out a fact that is very true. Everyone loses now and then, no one wins all the time. Erica Enders tells her mother that when she first stepped into her father’s car, it just felt right when she raced. She felt at home when she was behind the wheel of a car. For example, if a person likes to write, that person will feel he or she at their best and feel like that who he or she is at that moment. It is who that person is and no one else should try to change that person. Courtney Enders comes in later tickling Erica Enders with a feather. Erica Enders gave her the device and Courtney Enders got a better score. Courtney Enders handed her the device and Erica Enders was frustrated that she did better with it than she did with it.

Erica Enders will come to the garage with Courtney Enders in Erica’s car. Courtney Enders tells her we should race each other. Erica Enders tells Courtney Enders, if I did that, it would not make sense. She tells her sister Courtney if I raced you and beat you, all I did was beat a little kid. If by some miracle, you beat me, all I did was get beat by a little kid. It would be a no-win situation. As Courtney Enders tells her, you crack me up, you take it so seriously. Erica Enders tells her, how am I supposed to take it? As Courtney Enders tells her, it is just a race. Courtney Enders may be the younger sister, but she is right. It is just a race. Erica Enders must allow herself to relax and not to take it so seriously. Erica Enders must allow herself to have fun.

Yes, life will have stakes, but the stakes cannot overwhelm you, so that you do not have fun. If you allow yourself to enjoy the process and do your best, you will be more successful than if you do not do that.

Erica Enders is played by Beverly Mitchell who played Lucy Camden in the TV series 7th Heaven. She played the third child of the Camden family. She was the 3rd oldest in the Camden family. Mat and Mary Camden were the older two. Erica Enders is the oldest one. There are only two of them in this family. How she plays Erica Enders is how she plays Lucy. She is fiery and will not tolerate people picking at her. Later in the movie, Erica Enders is getting picked on by a couple of popular girls saying that racing is not a real sport. She plays volleyball as well as does drag racing. She tells them, you do not think that it is a real sport. Have you ever been in a car that is going fast? It feels like you can hardly breathe. You can hardly hold the steering wheel. You had better develop your arm muscles, so I am sorry I must disagree with you. It takes quite a bit of athletic ability to do what I do. I will play the clip with the two girls picking on Erica Enders. You will watch the YouTube video included in this blog to watch that clip. Thank you.

Courtney Enders is played by Brie Larson in this movie. Yes, it is the same Brie Larson that will end up playing Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is one of the first roles she had as an actress. This is a theme for Brie Larson, she plays females that are tough and do not fall into the traditional female role. Brie Larson was in Hoot where she plays a tough female character who is trying to save owls that lived under the ground. She gets a role to play Elizabeth Zott in Lessons in Chemistry and yes, Elizabeht Zott does not fall into traditional female roles. She defies this story at every turn. Courtney Enders is like this, and she likes to race like her big sister Erica Enders.

Erica Enders will later be in a time trial with Jordy Knowlton, and she beats his time. She will later make fun of Jordy Knowlton and throw him a pocket pack of tissues. Her father Greg Enders will not be happy with Erica Enders. He tells her, if you want to lower yourself to his level go ahead. You were taught better than that. You are not the Knowltons. I thought I had to teach you how to lose, I never thought I had to teach you how to win. Erica Enders will realize that her father Greg Enders is right and realizes, nothing is worth going to his level. I will play the clip of Erica Enders getting lectured by her father. It is what was mentioned before, if a person cannot learn how to win or lose with grace, it will make that person become a bitter person. That person will be a sore loser and will gloat when he or she wins. A person must understand that you will not win all the time. That helps a person to have humility. When a person tries to do something, you should always do your best.

Erica Enders with her best friend Randy Jones who helps with being the crew chief of the car. She and he will have gone to ice skating rink. They both fall on the ice later as they have a hard time managing the balance of the ice skates. They must later help the two girls that picked on her by repairing their car. Because of her racing skills, she was able to know how to look at the car and repair it.

Erica and Courtney Enders will face challenges in the movie and will learn how to grow and become better and stronger people. One of the challenges is that Erica Enders will be needed to bump her French grade to an A and that she will be late to a volleyball match because of a vehicle breakdown. There will not be anything else revealed here. It does bring the viewer to the climax and help the viewer understand what happens in the film.

I will give you, my rating. I give the Disney Channel Original Movie, Right on Track, a 10 out of 10. This is a quality movie, and it is timeless. This story has something to say about how males are afraid of females going into a sport that is dominated by males. Erica Enders is having to go through several trials and must figure out she is going to get through them. She must learn how to win and lose with grace. She will learn from her sister Courtney Enders that she needs to take a deep breath and relax. That makes sense. As you know, I took Tae Kwon Do and got a 4th degree black belt. If you relax and take a deep breath, it will lower your heart rate and you will not be so tense. It is important to do this. Yoga will teach you this as well. What is happening with MAGA is that they believe they should not lose, and they must win all the time. MAGA does not know how to win and lose with grace. That is the problem and that needs to change. They do not want to play fair and that hurts everyone. It does compare to the film as was mentioned by winning and losing with grace. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace that is currently on Disney+. The reason to do this review and analysis of this movie is that there is relative stuff that is said in this movie. It also makes sense as this movie is now 25 years old. This movie has weaknesses, and the idea of the story is good. The idea of going back to understand why Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader is important. It helps the viewer understand why it happened. It also helps the viewer understand how Emperor Palpatine came to power. He started out as a Senator from Naboo, but he wanted power and he wanted to create a crisis. Palpatine decided to have the trade federation attack Naboo so that he can say to those in the Republic such as the Senate that Chancellor Valorum is not worthy to be Chancellor, so you need to elect a new leader to run the Republic. This is remarkably like how every other dictator rose to power. Rome was a republic before the people there elected Julius Caesar before he decided the people needed a dictator to run the government for them. This is what this review will set out to prove. I will give you my rating at the end of this episode. I hope this episode will inspire you to read, watch, and learn.

As was mentioned before, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace came out 25 years ago in May 1999. This movie came out 22 years after the first Star Wars film of A New Hope. This movie tells the viewer that the trade federation was acting aggressively towards Naboo. The two ambassadors that were going to force the settlement of the trade federation were jedi knights. As the viewer finds out the jedi knights are Qui Quon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi. Qui Quon Jinn was Obi Wan Kenobi’s master. Oui Quon Jinn tells Obi Wan Kenobi that this trade federation are cowards, the negotiation will be short. That is true. The trade federation is working for Darth Sidious who is known other becomes Emperor Palpatine. At this moment in the story, Emperor Palpatine is Senator Palpatine. He has not been elected the Supreme Chancellor yet. There is this belief that dictators rise to power through force. Most of the time it is more subtle than that. They are usually elected, and people will get duped by that individual thinking they have their best interests at heart when it is usually about them getting power no matter what. Julius Ceasar was elected in Rome. Adolf Hitler was elected by the people of Germany. Adolf Hitler promised the Germans, if you elect me, I will make your lives better. He told the Germans that your lives are bad because of the Jews. The Jews must be eliminated so that your lives can be better. These dictators promise that they will make their lives better, but it is a smokescreen at best. It is a bunch of hot air. Their egos are as big as a hot air balloon. Look at Donald Trump, his ego is as big as hot air balloon. Donald Trump like Senator Palpatine will promise a lot, but in the end, it is all lies. They are usually the agents of chaos and promise those, you must give them all the power to protect from the chaos. It is usually a vicious cycle. That is the irony at best.

Qui Quonn Jinn will have to rescue Jar Jar Binks from getting killed by the Droid army. What is wrong with you? Jar Jar Biniks tells Qui Quon Jinn that I can speak. As Qui Quon Jinn tells Jar Jar Binks, the ability to speak does not make you intelligent. That is true. Jar Jar Binks is a bad version of Steve Urkel. If a person grew up in the 1990’s, Steve Urkel was clumsy. His clumsiness was used intelligently. Steve Urkel was intelligent but had coordination problems. There may be those that like Jar Jar Binks and that is understandable. It is the assessment of this review that this could be better. For example, in Return of the Jedi, Wicket threw the slingshot into his eyes. This was an effective use of comedy there. Jar Jar Binks was stupid, and it was hard to understand what the appeal was. It is

The Jedi later gets help from the Gunkans to help with the problem of the droid army. The Gunkans needed to help them. It is important for that to happen. They must go up and help Queen Amidala escape from the trade federation. It is important for this to happen. The Jedi rescued her and her court.

The governor tells Qui Quon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi that they would not dare to kill the queen. The captain of her royal guard tells them they need her alive to sign the treaty. They cannot afford to kill her. The governor tells Queen Amidala that you need to go with the Jedi to Coruscant. Senator Palpatine will need your help. This is true, she must plead her case to the Senate. This is the only way they will get where they need to be.

They escape off the planet of Naboo and they are lucky to get through the blockade of the trade federation. The ship gets heavily damaged, and they are rescued by R2D2. This is where R2D2 came from. He was on Naboo. He was a droid that was always concerned about the mission. The captain tells Queen Amidala that R2D2 is the reason we survived. Queen Amidala tells Padme to clean this droid, it deserves our gratitude.

Padme will meet Jar Jar Binks while cleaning R2D2 and this is where Padme talks to him. It is an enjoyable conversation here. She has a friendly conversation with Jar Jar Binks.

The viceroy of the trade federation tells Darth Sidious that this ship is out of our range. Darth Sidious tells the viceroy; it is not out of the range for the Sith. Darth Sidious introduces the viceroy of the trade federation to Darth Maul. Darth Maul is cool as he is menacing, and he has a face that is menacing. Darth Maul is a great character. He wears a black hood. The good thing that this movie does is that it has Palpatine in the same hood that he was known to wear once he became the emperor. Return of the Jedi showed that as well. It is of a navy-blue color. It is a communication that the viceroy and his second in command have with Palpatine. The viceroy tells him after they are off with Darth Sidious, there are now two of them. The second in command agrees, this is getting out of hand.

As Oui Quon Jinn tells them, this is the best place to take her is Tatooine. It is the place where we must hide from the trade federation. Tatooine is controlled by the Hutts. As the captain tells the Jedi, you cannot take her there, the Hutts are gangsters. It would be, if the Hutts were looking for her, but that gives us the advantage. Qui Quon Jinn is right, they need to take her there as they are not looking for her.

They get on Tatooine, and this will lead Qui Quon Jinn to go with Padme, Jar Jar Binks, and R2D2 to meet up with Wala and they will eventually meet up with Anakin Skywalker. As Anakin Skywalker tells Padme, are you an angel? Padme tells Anakin, what? An angel, as Anakin says. As Anakin describes, they are the most beautiful creatures in the galaxy. As he tells Padme, all the space pilots talk about when they come through her. Anakin Skywalker is a slave. Padme leaves and lets him know, I was glad to meet you, Anakin. Anakin tells her the same thing.

Anakin Skywalker must help down the road. Anakin gets Padme, Qui Quon Jinn, and R2D2 to shelter. Anakin Skywalker shows Padme C3PO and tells Padme that he was built to help his mother around the house. Padme tells them that the republic outlawed slavery. As Anakin’s mother tells Padme, the republic does not exist out here. Anakin suggests to Qui Quon Jinn that I will help you. Anakin suggests to Qui Quon Jinn, you can have me race in the Pod Race and that I can help you get the money you need to buy the parts necessary to fix your ship. There is no choice but to let Anakin help them as his mother tells Padme and Qui Quon Jinn.

The movie will progress with Anakin Skywalker racing in the Pod Race against Sabula. Sabula is one of the best racers out there. There is one reason to why that is. He cheats. He will take pieces off the other racers’ pods so that will give him the advantage. Anakin Skywalker will get help from Qui Quon Jinn, and this will allow him to win the race. This will give the parts that Qui Quonn Jinn, Padme, R2D2, and Jar Jar Binks need to get off Tatooine. The farting of the animal before the race is not necessary. There is no need to have fart jokes in Star Wars. The original trilogy did it with clever jokes, not fart jokes.

The movie will progress with Anakin Skywalker, Padme, Qui Quon Jinn, Obi Wan Kenobi, Jar Jar Binks, along with Queen Amidala to Coruscant. As is shown in the movie, Coruscant is a city planet. There is no part of the planet that is not a city. You wonder how they get their food. They get it from the other planets in the galaxy. They will meet up with Chancellor Valorum. As Qui Quon Jinn tells Chancellor Valorum, he needs to speak with Jedi council at once.

Qui Quon Jinn tells the Jedi Council that the came into an encounter with Darth Maul. Darth Maul would have attacked Qui Quon Jinn on Tatooine when he was getting Anakin on the ship. This is where Anakin meets Obi Wan Kenobi. Qui Quon Jinn lets them know that Darth Maul is a Sith. As the Jedi council tells Qui Quon Jinn, the Sith had been extinct for a Millenia. Qui Quon Jinn lets the jedi council know that he discovered Anakin Skywalker, and you need to consider him to be trained as a jedi. The council is hesitant about this but agrees to have Anakin Skywalker come before them.

Senator Palpatine tells Queen Amidala that you must consider a no confidence vote for Chancellor Valorum. Queen Amidala tells Senator Palpatine, he has been our biggest supporter. Senator Palpatine convinces her that he is corrupt, and he is in the pocket of the trade federation. She gets easily deceived by Senator Palpatine and agrees to have him voted out of office by the senate. As Palpatine tells her, the senate will elect a new chancellor, a strong chancellor. This is how Palpatine gets to power. It is no different from Julius Caesar or Adolf Hitler. They got elected and once they got their power, they make sure no one else can get it.

The movie will progress as Qui Quon Jinn finds out that the Jedi council will not allow Anakin Skywalker not to be trained. As Yodi would have told Anakin Skywalker earlier, I sense great fear in you. As Anakin asks him, what does that have to do with it. Anakin Skywalker is worried about losing his mother. As Yodi tells him, it means everything. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering. That is true. One of the four freedoms that Franklin Roosevelt talked about is freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. If you give into fear, you will believe that you are free, but you are not. If you give into want, you are not free. To do what you want is not freedom, it is license. Palpatine wants power. If all do what they want, it can hurt other people and make them less free. You are not as free as you think you are.

The movie will progress as Queen Amidala will go back to Naboo with the two Jedi that have been protecting her. This will lead them to having to fight off the trade federation droid army. They will need help with the Genkans. The fight with ships is awesome along with the fight with droid army against the Genkans. The battle is a diversion to allow Padme Amidala with her captain to take back the throne room. Anakin Skywalker will be a cockpit with R2D2. It is a Naboo starfighter. That type of vehicle is later used by the Mandalorian in the Book of Boba Fett, and the third season of the Mandalorian. The fight with the Jedi against Darth Maul is awesome. Anakin Skywalker helps Padme with the droids. The ship is on autopilot. The problem is having Anakin Skywalker put on a helmet that is child size. This does not make sense. He should be putting on a helmet that is too big. Yes, it is obvious, but obvious in this case it would have been funny. This is using ordinary situations and making it funny. Anakin Skywalker would have been forced to take it off and must fly without the helmet. This is not using fart jokes. It is not necessary to go to the lowest common denominator.

I will give you, my rating. I give Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace, a 6 out of 10. This rating I gave is very comparable to other ratings given by other people. Most average ratings are around this. Most letter grades have it around a C. This movie is not the best of all, but it is not the worst either. The relationship between Anakin and Padme is good. Their connection feels real. Darth Maul is awesome and terrifying. Darth Maul using a double-bladed lightsaber is very cool. His lightsaber is based off a Bo staff. Bo Staffs are that length of his lightsaber. Instead of being made off wood, this lightsaber can cut you and can kill you. As was pointed out in this review, there is no need for fart jokes in Star Wars. Jar Jar Binks is a bad version of Steve Urkel. Steve Urkel is smart but clumsy. Jar Jar Binks is an uncoordinated buffoon. Steve Urkel is annoying, but you can get behind him. The movie showing how Palpatine got to power is good. Every dictator usually does it by more subtle means. It is usually not by force. Look at Donald Trump and tell me if he does possess those tendencies of wanting to be a dictator. The idea is good to go back to find out how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader. It helps to understand how the Jedi found him and trained him. The jedi council are hesitant to train him, but he does get trained by Obi Wan Kenobi. The idea is good, the execution needed work. I would have made Jar Jar Binks not to be so stupid. That would have been my improvement. Anakin Skywalker as mentioned before when he is in the Naboo starfighter, needs his helmet be too big for him. Yes, it is obvious, but it would have been funny. It would have been clever to use the ordinary and make it funny.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway and Happy belated Mother’s Day. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 that is currently on Disney+. I will also do live trailer reactions and take questions and ask you questions on air for you to respond in the chat. I will let you know when that happens. The series will start off with Omega being on the planet that Dr. Hemlock has her after he took her there to force Nala Se who was the one who created the clones, and the Empire wants to use her to make more of them. In the first episode, it will remind the viewer what happened to Tech. Tech told Wrecker, when have we ever followed orders. Tech knew the only way they all did not die is if he sacrificed himself to save the whole team. The emperor wants to find specific DNA in the clone. He is looking for M class blood. Dr. Hemlock is torturing the clones to condition to become obedient soldiers. Echo was hoping to help Captain Rex find where Dr. Hemlock took these clones so that he could rescue them. Omega hopes she can escape from her prison, but she does not want to leave Crosshairs behind. I will give you my rating at the end of this review. As was mentioned before, Omega is looking for a way to escape from the prison that she has been put in. Emerie Karr is a clone like Omega. Emerie Karr told Omega in the final episode of Season 2 that she is Omega’s sister. Omega hopes to help Nala Se as well as Crosshairs. It is no doubt that Crosshairs served the Empire, but he believed that he was doing the right thing in serving them. As the viewer knew from Season 2, the empire betrayed Crosshairs and he thought that he was a good soldier. He realized he was wrong, and that the empire only wanted to use him as a tool. Mayday needed medical attention, but one of the officers of the empire refused to help him. He killed that officer because of what happened to Mayday. This is an example of how an authoritarian government does not care about what happens to its citizens or soldiers if they do not do what it wants. If anyone thinks their lives would be better under a king or emperor, that person is delusional at best. It is not. This Season will show that it is not the case.

Omega learns from Nala Se that you want to get out of. If Emerie Karr finds out that you have M class blood, then she will tell Dr. Hemlock. This will be bad news for Omega and Nala Se who had been destroying her blood samples to protect her from this happening. Nala Se knew that if this happened, it would be bad news for Omega. Omega must plan her escape to help Crosshairs get out of the prison they are in.

Omega and Crosshairs escaped with the help of Nala Se because she gave Omega a pad that allowed her to access codes to get through parts of the facility that is run by Dr. Hemlock. Omega finds Crosshairs, and she goes to the part of the facility where a pet is kept. It is where earlier she helped the animal that she cared for escape. She helps Crosshairs escape. Omega and Crosshairs escape. Omega feels discouraged when the ship they try to steal does not work. Crosshairs remind her that it is okay; we will figure it out. They do, and they both escape the planet.

Dr. Hemlock will find out from Emerie Karr that Omega has the M class blood they have been looking for. M class blood can only be one thing. It was mentioned in the Prequels. In the Phantom Menace, the first Star Wars movie of the prequels, was called midichlorians. It was an important factor if an individual possessed the force. This is why the empire wants her to. There will be another reason as well. No, Omega is not the only one they have and wanted.

Omega and Crosshairs get to a planet, and Omega is trying to convince a droid to help them get on a ship without chain codes. They must have chain codes to get on a ship. This is where it gets challenging. Omega tries to win money by gambling and playing games. It gets harder. Their pet gets captured, and they must rescue it. One of the Imperial officers knew they were from the planet that Dr. Hemlock was on. Omega and Crosshairs must figure out how to get off the planet. They steal a shuttle, and they escape. They got to the planet, and Hunter and Wrecker found her with Crosshairs. Omega told Hunter and Wrecker; her escape would not have been successful if she and Crosshairs did not work together. With them both working together is why their escape was successful.

The season will continue with them meeting up with the Echo on the planet that reminds a viewer of Hawaii. This is where they will go to a planet that is a snowy and ice planet. This planet is like the planet that Crosshairs was on when he lost Mayday. It reminds him of that. As he tells Hunter, the empire betrayed me first. He does not tell Hunter that it was because they would not help Mayday when he needed medical attention. As one of the imperial officers told him, it would be a waste of the empire’s resources if they helped Mayday. This just shows how cold and calculating they are. They feel like they are getting close to the base. They hope they can find it.

As Captain Rex told Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshairs, you had better figure out why the empire wants Omega. Your lives will not be safe until you figure out why the empire does want her. Both Captain Rex and Echo found out from a clone that was looking for Omega. A bunch of clones come to take Omega from them. As Captain Rex told them, you cannot do this. You must consider if you are on the right side of history. They let them escape.

The season will progress and Phee Genoa is played by Wanda Sykes. Wanda Sykes has been in movies like Evan Almighty. She has a dry sense of humor about her. Her humor is not crude. If you watch her in the Atkins ads, her humor shows up there. It is

. Wanda Sykes made fun of Rob Lowe when he was eating a candy bar claiming to lose weight. That was funny. Even in the first episode of the second season of the Bad Batch, she showed that humor there. I will play the ad with Rob Lowe and Wanda Sykes that is an Atkins ad.

Phee Genoa said that she could not believe how funny the clones looked. Omega was a special one since she did not look like any of the other clones. Phee Genoa will meet Crosshairs and Crosshairs is under the impression that she does not like him. She does. As Omega told him, she is freeing treasures. In a sense, Phee Genoa is a treasure hunter or a pirate. Phee Genoa is like Han Solo or Lando Calrissian. They were scoundrels or card players or con artists, but they still had a code. They did not like dealing with the empire. Phee Genoa is like that as she does not like the Empire.

Phee Genoa tells them if you want to find a place or someone who can help you with knowing what Omega is, you need to find a bounty hunter. Phee Genoa told Hunter and Wrecker that you need to find Fennec Shand. Yes, Fennec Shand, who was in the first season of the Bad Batch, makes an appearance this season. Fennec Shand’s first appearance in Star Wars was in the first season of the Mandalorian, which is a good series. Fennec Shand will help Wrecker and Hunter find out who can help them if they help her. Fennec Shand was also in the Book of Boba Fett, which I reviewed for this channel. They agree to do that, and they help her by catching her bounty. Fennec Shand ends up helping them.

The person who finds them is named Asajj Ventress and she is a gray character. She worked for the Separatists, but she wanted to help Omega. Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshairs do not trust her. Assajj Ventress tells them if I told Omega that she could wield the force then I would have to take Omega so she could be trained, and she would have to leave you. You must understand that the empire will not stop looking for her until they find her.

Cad Bane is back in this season of the Bad Batch. He made an appearance in the first season of the Bad Batch, and he was in the Book of Boba Fett. He captures a child that ends up later for the empire. He is a bounty hunter, and his only loyalty is money. The empire is paying bounty hunters to find children and take them to experiment with. This is where Emerie Kar finds out what is happening. She is feeling conviction and guilt about what is happening.

The season will later progress with Omega getting captured by the empire and taken back to the planet with Dr. Hemlock. She realizes that she must do this to help the people of the planet that reminds the viewer of Hawaii. She decides to go with the clone that was looking for her as well as the stormtroopers. This will cause the Bad Batch to rescue her later.

As not to be revealed, nothing more will be revealed here. It does bring the viewer to the climax and the conclusion of the series.

I will give you, my rating; I give the Bad Batch Season 3, a 10 out of 10. It was fun, but it tells an important story. This series does an excellent job of showing the empire’s oppression. The first season I reviewed had the appearance of Saw Guerra. As he told the Bad Batch, yes one war was fought over the separatists, but a new war started. He called it the civil war. It was not considered a rebellion yet. That will not show up later. It was mentioned in the last episode of the Bad Batch. What happens at the end of the series? What is the result of Bad Batch and Omega? What happened to Dr. Hemlock? Who survives? Who does the Bad Batch turn to for help to infiltrate where the planet that Omega was being kept on? Please leave your answers in the comment section below. The series deals well with the oppression of the empire and how the empire has no boundaries in what they can do. There are no checks and balances when you have one individual controlling all the power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

This trailer is awesome. This trailer shows a person who is looking for retribution. This person was a jedi who gets deceived by the Dark side and is convinced that she is doing what is right. This person manipulates her into believing that she must do this. She starts murdering jedi. The one who trained her told the others he must be the one to stop her. She was his student and wanted to find a way to stop her. It reminds the viewer of elements from a thriller. It is like watching a Bosch episode or a Reacher episode. She is looking to check the jedi off like she is checking off a murder board. This has become a game for her, and this will be deadly. One of the things it shows is that it says no one is safe from the truth? What truth do they mean? It is a plot twist, but this is powerful storytelling.

Training swords is very similar to how a person learns to wield a sword. As I mentioned before, I did martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do. I took a sword class, and I will bring out the training sword which I have. It is made of wood and that is important for a person to have. You never train a person with a real sword that is made of metal until the master is ready to train them. It is no different with training Jedi to wield a lightsaber. You do not let them use that weapon until they have skills of using the training sword 1st.

The individual at the end is very similar to Kylo Ren and reminds him of the viewer. It is awesome. Kylo Ren was taken from Darth Revan. Is Darth Revan ever going to be in Star Wars? The Acolyte has a clip where the one that gets deceived by this individual that the Jedi are evil is throwing knives at one of the female jedis. The knives are made from real metal and not from Kyber crystal. There is a book that talked about Jedi using swords made from metal before they were made from Kyber crystals. Another trailer that I saw recently is the Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy trailer. I will watch the trailer with you, and I will give you my thoughts on the trailer. I will play it now. It is

The trailer is awesome. What I saw in this trailer is that the building blocks of the galaxy are literally falling apart. It is crazy as the Lego Sig says there are X-Wing Tie fighters. It is crazy to say the least. You see Ewok bounty hunters which is not a common theme in Star Wars. The Millenium Falcon looked sinister and not like the ship fans usually expect it to look. There was a fan theory that believed Jar Jar Binks was really a Sith. At the end of the trailer, you see Jar Jar Binks looks like a Sith lord, and he had a red lightsaber instead of the other common ones such as green and blue that are commonly used by the Jedi.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Matacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing The Rules of Threes: A Novella by Jeffrey Deaver. This book is 260 pages long. This is not an exceptionally long read. The story will be about Constant Marlowe, who is a DCI investigator for the state of Illinois. The name of Illinois comes from a name of a Native American tribe. The book will explain this. Constant Marlow is working in Clark Valley to find the BRK killer who has been terrorizing the town of Clark Valley. She works with Frank Tremain and Zo Eventide who works for the Clark Valley Sheriff Department. Frank Tremain is the Sheriff and Zo Eventide is one of the deputies that works for the Sheriff. Zo Eventide is paired with Constant Marlow in finding the BRK killer before this individual strikes again. Zo Eventide and Constant Marlow work well together. Constant Marlow is a female police investigator who works for the state of Illinois. The BRK killer likes females that have dark hair, so the killer is raping and killing these females. This is a person who wants to live in his sexual fantasy and wants to impose his sexual fantasy on his victims. There will be several possibilities of who the killer is. I will give you my rating at the end of this episode. I hope this episode will inspire you to read, watch, and learn.

As was mentioned before the BRK killer is attacking females that have dark hair. This killer is targeting females that are in their 20’s. You would think this killer is an older man. The reason that is the case there is a man that goes by the name of Joseph Ray Whelan. Joseph Ray Whelan is stalking around looking to find someone. The reader will think he is after witnesses that may have seen him. It appears that he is a stalker. A stalker is someone who watches someone, and they are obsessed with that individual.

The book will throw twists and turns. What the reader thinks he or she knows, he or she does not know. It is great writing. It is great storytelling when the reader cannot figure out what is going on in the story. Jeffrey Deaver knows how to get the reader to guess what he is doing.

Frank Tremain is the Sheriff of Clark Valley, but he is also a forensic scientist. He knows how to break down the evidence at the crime scene. He is good at CSI. He tells Constant Marlow that he had to learn how to do it since there is not enough in the budget for the town for the Sheriff department to hire a forensic scientist or a CSI.

The people that saw the killer are the Hope family. The Hope families’ names are Glen Hope, Liz Hope, Tamara Hope, and Erik Hope. It is assumed that since they are witnesses, they must be innocent. That would make sense, but this book does well to make the reader think about that. What you know is what you think you know you do not.

Glen Hope is the father of the Hope family and is married to Liz Hope who is the mother of the Hope family. Tamara Hope is the only female child of the Hope Family and Erik Hope is the one of the male children of the Hope Family. There is another male child but is not in the picture. His name is Jason Hope. It is believed that he is dead, but is he? What is the status of Jason Hope. Is he dead or is he alive? Please leave your answer in the comment section below. Thank you.

There is a racist group that is called the Eagle Brotherhood, and it is believed they are killing these females. These are not good people, but it does not mean they are the killers. They are looking to scare people that are minorities, and they want to scare Native Americans off their land. This is where this is interesting. The Eagle Brotherhood are modern day Nazis. They do not have death camps, but they still have their philosophy that there is one master race. Their idea is to have the world be of the white race. They want to have people go to Canada. This is where they are not interested in death camps, but they would like their part of the world be of all white people. In their minds to make America great again is to make it white again.

There is a man named Bigot with another man who attacks Constant Marlow and Zo Eventide based off the group of Eagle Brotherhood who are a Nazi group in this story. They attack her because they hate the fact that she is with a person who is of a different race or ethnicity. Constant Marlow used to be a boxer before she became a police investigator. She uses those skills to help beat these two men up that are attacking her and Zo Eventide. They don’t want her to use any weapons. They believed they would have her at a disadvantage. What they do not know is that she is good at hand-to-hand combat. She does not have any weapons like a gun or a police baton. These skills will be important.

There are people who want to eliminate Constant Marlow and Zo Eventide. They want her to be eliminated because they feel they are getting too close. There is a scene in the book where their car gets pushed into the river by another car. This involves Constant Marlow breaking out of the car and having to rescue Zo Eventide before they both drown. They are lucky to survive based on this attack. The reader concludes that there must be a guardian angel watching over them.

Constant Marlow is more determined after this attack. The people who do this believe this will scare her off. All they do is make her more determined to find the truth. She is a bulldog and will do whatever it takes to find these people. There is more than one person in this criminal conspiracy. The BRK killer is not acting alone. The BRK killer has help. Constant Marlow concludes that is the case. This case has a lot of threads and a good detective, given the time he or she needs, can put those threads together. She must solve a puzzle, and each piece needs to fit, so this mystery makes sense.

Constant Marlow is in a relationship with Evan Quill, who is a prosecutor. She also trusts him and knows he is good at what he does. He is a straight shooter. He believes in the law and will apply it fairly. He comes to her and helps her with solving the case of the BRK killer. They are in a hotel room. This relationship is not serious. It is a relationship to have fun.

Joseph Ray Whelan is going around looking for victims, or that is what the reader thinks. It feels like he is the killer who is rapping his victims. He is not; he is a police detective. He is a bulldog. He is looking for the killer that killed and raped his wife. Joseph Ray Whelan believes he is talking to an innocent person, but that person ends up hitting him with a pipe and crushes his skull and kills him. Believing he is the killer is wrong.

As not to be revealed, nothing more will be revealed here. It does bring the reader to the climax and leave this book open to a new book to be written.

I will give you, my rating. I give the book Rule of Threes by Jeffrey Deaver, an Amazon Original Story, a 10 out of 10. This story is complex and what the reader believes he or she knows, they do not. The twists and turns are good in a mystery or thriller like this. As a reader, the reader wants to have it not predictable. The writer does a good job of having characters that are believable, and characters who appear to be good are not the case. The reader believes that he or she knows who the villain is but does not. Who is the actual killer? Is there one killer or more than one killer? Please leave your answer in the comment section below. I have not read them, but if you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription, you can read and listen to them for free. That would be part of a Kindle Unlimited subscription. Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. Before I start this review, please subscribe to this channel, and hit that notification bell to be notified of any reviews at the bottom of this review. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing the book While Justice Sleeps by Stacey Abrams. Some background on Stacey Abrams, she was the one that ran for governor of Georgia twice and lost twice to Brian Kemp. She is a state legislator from Georgia. She is an advocate for fair elections and has a playbook on how to save our democracy and our country of the United States of America. It starts with getting people out to vote and understanding that elections have consequences if you do not vote. Please vote this November of 2024 and every election after this one. If you want your government to work for you, you must vote so that it can. I am cautiously optimistic if we do this, it will save our country from going into an authoritarian regime. This book will deal with a president that believes he is above the law and there is a plot to have this supreme court justice dealt with that has been a throne in the president’s side in terms of doing the president’s agenda. This sounds too much like what is happening now in real life. This is happening with the MAGA movement that has penetrated our local up to our federal governmental agencies. I know there will be those out there that will say that I am getting political about this. This is not political. When George W. Bush, who was the last republican president before Donald Trump was not a dictator because he left and did the peaceful transfer to Barack Obama and Barack Obama did that to Donald Trump, but Donald Trump did not do that to Joe Biden. Instead, he led an insurrection against the United States of America. Once their term was up or that candidate lost, they always left the office peacefully. Not until Donald Trump did this happen no matter the party of departing president. Brandon Stokes in this book will have Major Vance working for him to kill Justice Wynn and this is where the conspiracy lies in place. He wants to put another conservative justice so that he can claim to his base that he did this. I will give you my rating at the end of this review. Before I continue this review, remember I will give you an analysis of the text and whatever rating I give you is my opinion. This does not mean that you must agree with me. I never always agreed with any of the reviewers that I would have read or listened to. What I always admired is that they gave what they saw in the text he or she was reviewing, and that individual would have given his or her honest opinion. This is what I do. Whatever rating I give, you need to know it is my honest opinion. I will never lie to you. If you do not agree with me no matter what rating I give you, that is fine with me. This channel or blog is meant for reading, watching, and learning. I always hope that inspires you to think critically. You know that I go through texts carefully as you can tell that I have looked at them and give detailed analysis of what I see. I hope that helps you. As was mentioned before in this review, President Stokes is looking to use Major Vance to get rid of Justice Wynn to get his conservative justice on the bench. He wants to stack the court with his conservative justices. Justice Wynn will find out there is a conspiracy with an American biotech company and an Indian company. Justice Wynn will take a drug that will cause a coma and it will make it, so he does not wake up until someone helps him to do it. Justice Wynn has Boson’s disease which is uncurbable. The merger between these companies may not save him but can save the life of his son Jared Wynn.

Nurse Lewis will find him, and she will call 911 to get him to a hospital. This goes against the orders that were given to her by Major Vance who is working for Homeland Security. Nurse Lewis was supposed to let Justice Wynn die, not save his life. This will unfortunately lead to her getting killed by Major Vance.

Avery Keene, a brilliant law clerk, will later find out that she has been named Justice Wynne’s caretaker. She is shocked by his decision to do this, but it will become clear to her why Justice Wynn does this. This will cause her to meet Jared Wynn and Celeste Turner Wynne who is Justice Howard Wynn’s estranged second wife. His first wife died years ago. Justice Howard Wynn is from Georgia.

Avery Keen will have allies such as Jared Wynn, Noah Fox, and her best friend of Lin who is in the medical field. She is not alone, which is good. Each one of these characters will be beneficial to her. Jared Wynn served in the military and understood how to hack computers and track to see if there were any bugs around. This can mean anything to listening devices and hidden cameras. Noah Fox is an attorney and understands the law. Lin, as was mentioned before, has medical knowledge.

Avery Keene will face challenges from Celeste Turner Wynn in the right to have guardianship over Justice Howard Wynn. Celeste Turner Wynn is not worried about her estranged husband’s best wishes. She only cares about one thing, to get lots of money from his death. What she does not know is that Justice Howard Wynn did not leave her any money according to the will he had Noah Fox write for him. He allowed her to do it if Avery did not accept the responsibility but did not allow her to get any money. This will force Avery Keene to accept the role of being Justice Howard Wynn’s caregiver. The person he left his money was to his own son Jared Wynn.

The book will have Avery Keene and Jared Wynn going to Jared Wynn’s childhood home in Georgia that he felt when he was close to his father of Justice Howard Wynn. This will lead them to getting shot and they must figure out how they are going to survive this. They do, but it is not easy.

They will get back to Washington, DC and they must figure out what their next move is. Justice Howard Wynn has put clues to Avery Keene that are like figuring out a chess game. Avery Keene is a great chess player, and this is up her forte. She must figure out what he means and put together the clues that he left her to find. She is smart and she will figure out this game that he has put in front of her.

FBI agent Lee will find out that she is not a criminal. FBI agent Lee is a government servant, and he always wants to find the truth. He is not a sycophant; he always wants to seek justice. This is important. There are good cops and bad cops. He is considered a good cop.

The search for Ani will be important. It will help the reader to understand what happened years ago with certain experiments. The experiment that is discovered is that the Indian government was trying to cover up an experiment that was designed to kill Muslims. Anyone that would think that would not be possible. Hitler and the Nazis executed 6 million Jews, so yes this is possible. The Turks killed 75% of the Armenian population. Watch the Promise and rent it from Amazon and you see why I say why I am saying what we humans have done to each other is horrible. I would take my cat’s love of me. Their love is genuine, and I know how much they love me, and I love them. Believe me, we could learn something from our pets. My cats have all loved me, and in return I love them. To me, it has made me a better person. I know that loving my cats makes me love people better. It is hard to love some people, but it is necessary. If they hate me, that is their problem. If we all focused on love more than hate, this would be a better world to live in.

Jared Wynn will call Ani a murderer and this is understandable. Since this technology was used to kill Muslims. There are two people that want to make this technology work for the better. One is from North Carolina and his name is Nigel Cooper and the other is from India if I am not mistaken. I could be wrong about that one. If I am, please let me know in the comment section below. It could be cure for Borson’s disease which both Justice Howard Wynn and his son Jared Wynn have. This is where this technology can be used for good.

The story will deal with Avery Keene’s mother Rita Keene getting kidnapped by the people who are corrupt working in Homeland security trying to get rid of Justice Howard Wynn by any mean’s necessary. This is where the criminal conspiracy comes into play. This is dangerous and will make it so Avery Keene must decide between her mother Rita Keene or killing Justice Howard Wynn. Avery Keene produces the idea that she will resign Justice Howard Wynn’s position on the court to save her mother.

The story will have twists and turns. It will bring the reader to the climax of this story.

I will give you, my rating. I give While Justice Sleeps by Stacey Abrams, a 10 out of 10. It was fun but tells a complicated story. If you listen to the audio version of this book, she will be on the audio version telling the listener that she was rejected several times. She had friends that told her to keep plugging away. There were publishers at the time she submitted this book who said this would never happen. Ironically, it did. When Scalia died and Mitch McConnel held up his replacement because he did not want to hold hearings for Marland Garland. This to me showed me then back in 2016 what Republicans were then. When they decided to support Donald Trump, it told me they were more interested in power, and they were willing to do what is necessary to keep it. The reason the Founding Fathers produced 3 branches of government is they did not want a monarchy. You have right now, people in government that would like to tear down our democracy. If you do not believe me, you can search for the 2025 project. It will read like what Hitler did in Nazi Germany. Brandon Stokes is like Donald Trump who believes that the law does not apply to him. Major Vance also believes that he is a patriot and what he did was necessary to protect the country. This book proves that these people are criminals and are horrible people. They knew what happened in those experiments that killed those people in this book, but they did not care what happened to them. It is good that it comes with an audio version if a person travels. Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reacting and breaking down the official Deadpool and Wolverine Trailer done by Marvel Studios. This movie is set to be released in theaters on July 26, 2024. This is one movie you want to watch in theaters. If you would rather wait for it to be released to Disney+, then do that. If not, watch it in movie theaters. I will be reacting to the trailer. I will have you watch the trailer and give you my thoughts after the trailer. I hope this episode will inspire you to read, watch, and learn. Here is the trailer now; I will see you after the trailer.

The trailer is awesome. I love how Wolverine looks like Wolverine in the comics. Here is an image to prove my point. In the comics, Wolverine was always wearing a yellow suit when he went to fight bad guys. Yes, Hugh Jackman is playing Wolverine again. This makes sense as Marvel paid him a lot of money. Ryan Reynolds is back as Deadpool. Deadpool needs Wolverine’s help to save his world. As said in the trailer, Wolverine’s world went to hell. The bartender was telling Wolverine earlier in the trailer to get out of the bar. It is very similar to the first X-MEN in that the bartender was telling to get out. Wolverine was known to drink beer. Here is a clip of Wolverine drinking beer and being told by the bartender to get out of his bar. This is after someone tried to kill him and he had to defend himself from that attack. The clip will be played right now to prove my point.

In the trailer, you can see portals that Doctor Strange has been known to use. This is cool to say the least. One of the characters reminds me of the Ancient One. Yes, the one who trained Doctor Strange before he became the Sorcerer Supreme. Wolverine is that character that says he is not a hero. It is mentioned in Logan, a movie that I reviewed for this channel in this link.

If you are wondering, yes blind Al is asking to do drugs. She likes her cocaine. Remember, Blind Al was known to do drugs. Remember in the first Deadpool, Weasel who is played by TJ Miller asks Blind Al if she would like to do some drugs in this link. She says yes to that. She is asking Wade Wilson if he wants do drugs. Wade Wilson tells her at the end of the trailer; it is off limits. One of the slang terms is Forest Bump which makes fun of Forest Gump. Forest Gump starred Tom Hanks and came out 30 years ago back in 1994. That was the year I would have started high school. I finished Eighth grade that year. Hard to believe it has been 30 years since I was 14. She asks him, do you want to build a snow man? You can think of Frosty the Snowman, but this is doing cocaine not building an actual snow man.

In the first trailer of this movie Deadpool and Wolverine, the TVA was in the first trailer. You want to watch the Loki series as they are mentioned in the first trailer. You do not see much of them in this trailer, but it is mentioned that Wolverine failed to save his world according to the TVA. Wolverine must help Deadpool stop what is happening. As Deadpool told him, you are the X-MAN. Any person who knows about the X-MEN, normally would think Wolverine. I hope this movie meets expectations.

In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing the movie Morbius that is done by Columbia pictures in association with Marvel that is currently on Disney+. I will go over several topics in this episode. Michael Morbius is fighting a blood disease that will eventually kill him if he cannot find a treatment or a cure for it. He is not doing this for himself; he is also helping his friend Milo, whose real name is Lucian. Michael Morbius is encouraged by his doctor whose name is Dr. Emil Nicholas in Greece for him to go into medicine. This is important so that he can master his skills as a doctor. Michael Morbius is looking at vampire bats. This is true to his character as shown in the 1990’s Spider-Man cartoon show. The character of Michael Morbius is looking for a cure for blood disease. I will also make a comparison with this to leukemia as that is a cancer that attacks the blood. I hope this episode will inspire you to read, watch, and learn.

Rest of Review and Rating of Marvel’s Morbius

As was mentioned before, Michael Morbius is searching for a cure for his and his friend Milo’s blood disease. He hopes he can find a cure for it in vampire bats. This is very similar to Michael Morbius in the 1990’s Spider-Man cartoon show. Michael Morbius wants to help people with the plague. Michael Morbius hopes that the vampire bats will be the answer he is looking for. This will not be easy. In the beginning of the movie, Michael Morbius is down in Costa Rico, and he is hoping that the answer to his problem is there.

Michael Morbius will cut his hand in to attract the bats to him. He is looking to get them transported from Costa Rico to his lab in New York City. Michael Morbius wants to help himself and his friend Milo feel better. He and his friend suffer from this blood disease.

This is like Leukemia as well. What Leukemia does is do its worst damage to the blood marrow. This is where this cancer goes, and it makes it hard for the patient to produce the necessary red blood cells. As in the movie, that is what Michael Morbius needs to consume. He needs to consume human blood after he becomes a vampire. Michael will be encouraged to become a doctor thanks to his friend, Doctor Emil Nicholas. Michael fixed the machine that was meant to keep Milo alive. It had a problem and Michael fixed it. This shows how gifted and smart Michael Morbius is. Here is a screenshot of what Leukemia does. Leukemia is a broad term for cancers of blood cells. The type of leukemia depends on the type of blood cell that becomes cancer and whether it grows quickly or slowly. Leukemia occurs most often in adults older than 55, but it is also the most common cancer in children younger than 15.

Michael Morbius will be in the hospital helping Anna, who is a young girl that is dealing with a blood disease like his and Milo. Dr. Martine Bancroft will be talking to Michael Morbius about what he is doing with the bats. She tells Anna that Doctor Morbius is in trouble. She tells Michael Morbius that you could lose your license. He tells her that we must do something different. I should have been dead years ago. Why am I not if not to fix this? They find out that the bat DNA he gives to the rat is successful.

As stated earlier in the movie, Michael Morbius as a young boy, tells Milo there is something missing from our blood like a piece of a puzzle. That is why we must get an oil change as he calls it. It is like their bodies are not producing enough red blood cells. The machine that Michael Morbius fixes is meant to help them with that.

This will lead Michael Morbius talking to his friend Milo about what he discovered. He told him that there is a cure. Milo was teasing him about Dr. Martine Bancroft and told him that you know that you love her and that there is no cure for that. You can tell there is chemistry between Martine and Michael. Michael Morbius is telling his friend Milo that they need to go on a ship, and it must be in international water. This experiment will break rules, and they need to do it there.

Michael Morbius will be the test subject of this experiment, and he will use that to help himself and hopefully Milo to get cured of their blood disease. This is not going to be easy, but it is necessary for this to work. Michael Morbius gets the serum injected into his body by his friend Dr. Martine Bancroft. This is where he becomes a vampire.

The head of the crew goes down to check it out. This is where Michael Morbius will bust out and he has become a vampire. It worked that it cured him of his disease, but it makes it so that he ends up wanting to consume human blood. Michael Morbius ends up killing them all after one of the crew hit Dr. Martine Bancroft into an object. She is knocked out and is not dead fortunately.

Michael Morbius will change back once it is daylight. This is not uncommon to what Michael Morbius did in the 1990’s Spider-Man cartoon show. Michael Morbius ends up changing back once the sun comes up. He calls for help once he sees the footage from the video. He will wipe the footage clean.

FBI agent Simon Stroud along with agent Rodriguez are looking to figure out what happened to these men. These men were drained of their blood as they find out on the ship. This will cause them to go to New York City to investigate what is going on the boat. They will talk to Dr. Martine Bancroft and have her look at the photos of the men that had their blood drained. She does not know what had happened since she got knocked out by one of those men. Rodriguez asks her, “Do those look like fang marks to you”. As you know, all vampires have fangs according to the myth of vampires.

Michael Morbius realizes that he can do things that he could not do before. He realizes he must consume human blood. He drinks artificial blood in the refrigerator. He does not have a choice if he wants to be sure he does consume any more human blood. He also has bat radar which is a natural form of sonar. He can toss a ball and catch his eyes closed. This makes sense as bats are blind, but their other senses like their hearing are intensified.

Milo comes to see Michael Morbius while he is dealing with being a vampire. Michael Morbius tells him that you do not want to take the serum. The serum has done something terrible to me. It is a curse. Michael Morbius means that the serum is a curse. This serum has caused him to become something he was not intended to be. He does not want that fate for Milo. Convincing Milo, that is another story. The story will prove it not to be true.

The nurse that Michael Morbius works with ends up dead and he is the prime suspect. He is arrested by Agent Simon Stroud and Agent Rodriguez who both work for the FBI. They have a joint task force with the NYPD. It is not uncommon for that to happen. A book review that I did for this channel called the Killer’s Game talks about the FBI and the NYPD working together, and that is known as a joint terrorism task force. . Both Agent Simon Stroud and Agent Rodriguez tell Michael Morbius that they are not upset with killing those mercenaries on the ship. We are happy to have them off the chart. They are upset with Michael Morbius killing the nurse. What they do not know is that Michael Morbius did not kill her. Michael Morbius needs the artificial blood so that he does not kill anyone else.

Michael Morbius is in detention lockup, and he meets his friend Milo claiming to be his attorney. As Milo tells him, this place is for drug lords and terrorists not for you. We need to get you out of here. As Michael Morbius finds out later that Milo took serum, and he knows this because Milo left his cane in Michael Morbius’ cell.

Michael Morbius will break out of the cell and go after Milo. He tells Milo, I told you not to take the serum. Milo tells him why he should not have taken the serum. I do not want to get hurt all the time. Milo, unlike Michael Morbius has taken the life of being a vampire and he tells Michael Morbius, why should they not feel the pain for a change. It is the idea of a person wanting to make others feel what they feel or feel.

Agent Simon Stroud and Agent Rodriguez of the FBI are searching for Michael Morbius. As Simon Stroud said, now he is laying down officers in my city. They are assuming it is Michael Morbius that is killing these people. They will later learn as they get a CCTV camera that Michael Morbius is not killing these people, it is a new guy.

Michael Morbius will later go to Dr. Martine Bancroft and ask her for help to help him find a way to stop Milo. He tells her on a bus that Milo took the serum. I must stop Milo and I need your help to do it. Dr. Martine Bancroft has a cat and personally the cat is a nice touch. I loved how the cat meowed at her, trying to get her attention. It was talking to her. I have been a sucker for cats since I have had a cat.

The movie will take the viewer through to the end of the story. It will get the viewer to the climax of the story that it is trying to tell.

I will give you, my rating. I give Morbius a 10 out of 10. I understand that it did not get rated well, but when I watch this movie, I cannot understand how people do not see how Michael Morbius is true to his character. Just like in the 1990’s Spider-Man cartoon show, Michael Morbius was trying to help those with a blood disease. I will leave a link to sites that I found for leukemia for you to read in the description below in the YouTube video or my blog if you are on my website looking for this information. Leukemia, as I mentioned, will attack the bone marrow and will make it hard for a person to fight an infection as the blood cells are off. There is that piece of the puzzle that is missing that Michael Morbius mentioned when he was a young boy. The piece is missing, and a person cannot put it back together. This inspires Michael Morbius to become a doctor so he can help save his life and his friend Milo. What happens instead is that it ends up turning him into a monster as well as his friend Milo. Michael needs to control this, and he is hoping that he can. There is a joke in the movie about Michael Morbius drinking the reds. This means that Michael Morbius needs that type of blood to stay alive as a vampire. If a person is a wine drinker, you get the joke of which I am. There is red and white wine. There are also red and white blood cells. The white blood cells in one’s body help to fight off infections.

In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be telling you which female stories that I like for International Women’s month. The list will be of females that represent strong female characters and represent that feminine strength that I want to see in a character. A good female character shows grace but knows how to help those when people need that person. Some of the best female characters that I can name are Ashoka, Rey, Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan, and Carol Danvers. I also think of characters like Diana Prince who is Wonder Woman. I may be missing some characters, but I will talk about that more in this episode. There will not be a ton of pictures, the only pictures I will have will be of a story that I talk about. Thank you for understanding. I hope this episode will inspire you to read, watch, and learn.

Rest of my thoughts of Female stories that I like for International Women’s month

A movie that I like to watch is Noelle and I know Noelle is a Christmas movie, but this character of Noelle is doing her best to help her brother Nick become the next Santa. She is showing him the ropes, and he is not getting them. He is not qualified to be Santa as he does not feel that it is his calling. Noelle tells him to take the weekend off. He heard what he wanted to hear and decided to go to Phoenix, AZ to teach Yoga. Noelle will realize that she must make this right. She goes to find him like the parable of the Lost sheep. Noelle will realize that he is not cut out to be Santa. Nick tells her you need to be the new Santa. Noelle grew up in this movie, and she realizes that this is her calling.

A series that I like to watch is the Hawkeye series that has Kate Bishop in her debut series, and she is fun to watch. She comes from a well-to-do family. The Bishops are not just rich, they have a lot of money. Despite her wealthy background, she realizes that her family got involved with a man that is extremely dangerous. His name is Wilson Fisk, and he is Kingpin. Kate Bishop with the help Clint Barton will defeat Kingpin and his thugs of the Track Suit Mafia. Kate Bishop will get Clint Barton to trust her and realize that she is right for this life of a superhero. She is talented in fencing, martial arts, and archery. She has a lot of talent. With the help of Clint Barton, she can flip a coin to hit objects. That is very cool.

A movie that I enjoying watching is Wonder Woman that came out in 2017. The character of Diana Prince is gracious and strong. She and the character of Steve have a deep connection. She gets to know him and decides to help him. She realizes Ares is stirring the pot to say the least. He is causing humans to want to kill each other. He is the god of war, and this makes this necessary for her to stop him. She realizes that humans are not perfect, but love is the answer, not hate. This will defeat Ares because she chooses love over hate. Steve will die in this movie, but Diana Prince decides what she must do.

The series that I like is Parallels. Yes, the three main characters are male, but there is a female character. Her name is Roman. Roman and Victor get transported to another universe while Bilol and Sam get transported to another universe. It is no different in the Multiverse in Marvel and DC where there are different parallel universes where characters have similar characteristics but different outcomes. This is what is happening here. Victor will believe that he is a monster, and this will cause him to self-destruct himself. He is about to go into complete despair, but Roman stops him, and she hugs him, and this causes him to realize he is not alone. This is why Roman is critical. Victor needs her and she makes sure he does not do anything that he regrets. This series only has one season but hopefully it will get a second season.

The series that I like is the first season of Ms. Marvel. She is a character that does not take herself too seriously. Kamala Khan will go to the Avengers convention, and she dresses like Captain Marvel. She will gain power. She saves Zoe who dresses like Ms. Marvel, which is what Carol Danvers dressed like in the earlier versions of the character. Ms. Marvel was her old name. This was not done in the MCU, but that is fine. Kamala Khan must go against Kamran’s mother and must stop her and the people who support her before they let something bad happen. Kamran’s mother believes that she and her family can go back home but find out she is wrong. She must stop Kamran’s mother. If they open the portal and release negative energy which can destroy our reality. Kamala Khan must close the portal. She must help Kamran and his powers need to be controlled. This series will have a clip at the end of Season 1 which will lead into the Marvels.

The series that I enjoyed watching was the Echo. Echo is a deaf character who is an amputee and of Native American heritage. She had her first appearance in the Hawkeye series. Echo’s real name is Maya Lopez. The actor that plays her is deaf, an amputee and of Native American heritage. Maya Lopez will learn that her pain is not what defines her; it is her heart. She was raised by Wilson Fisk, who is Kingpin. She will grow in this series and realize that defeating Wilson Fisk is not by anger and fear it is with love. She will force Kingpin to face his pain, but he runs from it.

A series that I like to watch is Ashoka where Ashoka Tano is looking for Grand Admiral Thrawn. She believes that there are remnants of the Empire looking for Grand Admiral Thrawn. The reason for the republic to be concerned is that Grand Admiral Thrawn is very smart and if he comes back, he can resurrect the Empire and bring those that are loyal to the Empire. She will go to Sabine Wren to help her find out what the device does. If the device needs to be destroyed to stop Grand Admiral Thrawn from returning, it must be destroyed. Ezra was on the Imperial star destroyer in Rebels and was sent with him to another galaxy. Sabine Wren will be concerned with finding Ezra, and this will cloud her judgement. It is understandable that she would want to find Ezra. Ezra helped save Ashoka, but Ashoka sees the bigger picture.

The series that I like watching is Secrets of Sulphur Springs. In that series, Griffin Campbell moves to Sulphur Springs, and he meets Harper. Harper is a strong female character. She kicks the locker, and it opens. They later will find a radio that can take people back in time. When they walk in the bunker, that reminds the viewer of a fallout shelter. Fallout shelter is where people go to protect themselves from nuclear fallout. This is important for people to do this. Griffin and Harper get transported to 1990 and when people thought Savannah to be dead, they find out what happened to her. Savannah ends up in 1960, and this is why people thought that she had just vanished. It will make sense. This series has 3 seasons, and it explains what happened to the Tremont property.

The movie that I like watching is Marvels. I know there are those that may like it or not. This movie shows how women can save the day but also be the main villain. The Marvels have Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel goes up against Dar-Ben. Dar-Ben is looking to restore the Cree world of Hala. She wants to make Captain Marvel pay for destroying Supreme Intelligence. She is stealing resources, and it will take Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan to defeat her. There will be a short appearance of Kate Bishop in the movie. That was cool to see.

A series that I like watching is iCarly that came out in 2007. I have seen all the first season expect the last two episodes. I like the combination of Carly and Sam in this series. They are fun to watch and use comedy when doing their web series. Yes, this is a fictional series. Freddie is the camera man and the tech guy. He makes sure the feed goes through the computer, so they can broadcast online. Carly lives with her brother Spencer, and he is a struggling artist. Carly shows strength when Spencer doubts, he should be an artist, but she helps him to realize that he cannot give up on his dream.

The sequel trilogy in Star Wars starring Rey is a character I like. Rey has a complicated past, but she shows strength, and she knows what she must do. It is the character growth that you want to see in any character. She is one that I like cheering for as she shows the female strength that I like in females. She is gracious but knows the difference between right and wrong. She finds out she is part of a family that is not very well-liked. She ends up being the black sheep of that family.

A movie that I recently reviewed, Double Teamed, came out in 2002 on Disney channel which you can watch on Disney+. I enjoy this movie because it shows Heather and Heidi Burge. They must learn to realize that they are meant to be basketball players. They played at a time when women’s basketball was not a phenomenon. It is not until now that people are more likely to watch women’s basketball. They will later play in Virginia and go to play at WNBA. The movie does an excellent job showing that females can play basketball and that they struggle like any person can.

In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing the Disney Channel Original Movie Double Teamed that is currently on Disney+. To answer the question, why am I reviewing a Disney Channel original movie is that these are quality movies, and they have a lot to say. They usually tell a delightful story, and they are made for kids in mind. It does not mean if an adult watches these movies, they cannot follow them and enjoy them. They can do an excellent job with having a plot but having a message in the story they are telling. The key to any delightful story is having characters that viewers, readers, or listeners can enjoy cheering for. This movie does an excellent job of telling the story of Heidi and Heather Burge. These are two twin sisters who grew up in Redondo Beach, California. This is a city that is outside the Los Angeles area. It is where people who are used to being on the beach, and they enjoy that time. This movie will deal with Heidi and Heather Burge becoming basketball players. They are volleyball players to start off with. I will go over several topics in this episode. I will explain how each of these players grow and become who they are. I will explain how the relationship with Nicky Williams changes and how they will get to know Galen Alderman. I will give you my rating at the end of this episode. Rest of the Review of Double Teamed

The movie will start off with Heather Burge working out in her room. Her mother Mary Burge says, “I see that the cattle are back.” She wants to drink her coffee in peace, but no such luck. Larry Burge, who is the father of Heather and Heidi Burge gets the girls ready to go to volleyball practice. The girls come down in the same outfit and Heidi is upset that Heather Burge wears the same outfit. Heather Burge is just upset at it as Hedi Burge is. Their mother tells the two girls to pick a number. They do and end up being seven. They end up picking straws and the shortest straw gets to change outfits. Heidi Burge ends up changing her sweatshirt. This movie takes place in Redondo Beach, CA in 1985. This will look different to those that are used to seeing smartphones. Heck back in 1985, you would be lucky if there were cellphones. Most people did not have cellphones at all. You would have to use a pay phone if you wanted to make a call back then.

They get to school and end up at Volleyball practice. The viewer can see how Heather Dominates against her sister Heidi Burge. Heather Burge is more into it than Heidi Burge, but it does not mean that Heidi Burge is not talented in sports. Their dad, Larry Burge wants Heidi Burge to be more like his other daughter Heather Burge. How can volleyball translate to basketball? I reviewed Big Shot season 2, which you can watch on Disney+, and that season showed how a volleyball player can play basketball. When a player makes a block, it is remarkably like how a volleyball player can score a point. Ava Navarro in the first episode of that season, blocked Louise Gruzinsky shot and that will be shown later in this movie of Double Teamed.

Larry and Mary Burge, the parents of Heidi and Heather Burge, are talking about transferring the twins to a new high school. It is called Palos Verdes High School. It makes sense as earlier before this conversation, Larry Burge was talking to a man that told him that the scouts were looking at his daughter when she was the twins’ age. He was told by that man to get your girls in larger high school where they are more likely to get more exposure. This makes sense. As Larry Burge tells his wife Mary Burge, he gave up making more money at a law firm so that he could be here for the girls. He told her we need help unless you have a rich uncle that I do not know about. The girls will need scholarships. College can be expensive, and most people need help if they want to go to a good school.

The girls will get home, and their father Larry Burge tells both Heather and Heidi Burge, they will be going to a new high school called Palos Verdes. He told them that they were tall and athletic and that they had a gift. He explains to them you got your mother’s genes in how she was a great swimmer, and you have that ability in how you can play volleyball. This is understandable as he tells them that they need to get noticed by the college scouts and land a scholarship at a good college. Heidi Burge gets mad and tells them you will not make go to this Palos Verdes High School. Heather Burge is upset but understands.

The twins of Heidi and Heather Burge got to this new high school of Palos Verdes. They find out that they love this school. Heidi Burge sees the options this school offers, and she enjoys every minute of it. She finds out that this is good. She decides to want to take Italian for her foreign language. Heather and Heidi Burge are getting starred at because they are so tall for their age. Heidi Burge will meet Zoey, and she helps Zoey with the sign. Heidi tells her that she would like to sign up for Drama camp. She and Zoey hit it off.

Heather Burge gets to the gym and takes the stack of volleyballs in the place that allows a person to move several balls. She gets to the gym, and she runs into the coach of the Palos Verdes high school girls’ basketball team. She is unsure about this. He tells her, give it a chance. The coach of the Palos Verdes high school basketball team needs her help as the only talented player he has is Nicky Williams. Heather Burge tells him that she needs to ask her father if he will let her play basketball.

Heather Burge with Heidi Burge is talking to their parents at dinner about what happened in school. As Larry Burge, their father tells them, who knew that the adjustment would be this easy. Heather Burge tells her father Larry Burge that she plans to try out for the basketball team. Her father tells her that is a great idea. You will stay in shape and be ready when you get to volleyball season. Larry Burge asks his other daughter Heidi Burge if she did that. Heidi Burge says no she did not. She told him that she was too busy having a life. Heidi Burge tells both her parents of Larry and Mary Burge that she is going to join the drama club and that she got the part of the tin man in the Wizard of Oz. Her mother Mary Burge tells Heidi Burge that is great. Larry Burge wants Heidi to be more like her twin sister Heather Burge and go out for the basketball team.

The movie will progress with Heather Burge trying out for the team. Nicky Williams is upset that she is not the star anymore. She lets Heather Burge that this is her team, and she wants to be the only player on the team that is the star. Heather Burge will later block Nicky Williams’ shoot and if you look at it, you can make a comparison in how Ava Navarro blocks Louise Gruzinsky shot in Big Shoot Season 2 episode 1. That ability to block is no different than a volleyball player scoring a point. It is the same motion.

The movie will progress, and it will have the viewer find out later that Heidi Burge’s father Larry Burge wants her to go out for the team. After they play basketball, Larry Burge tells her that your future is in sports, not a school play. Heidi Burge blames her sister Heather Burge at first. Heidi Burge tells her twin sister, congratulations I am back in your shadow. I hope you are happy about this. Heather tries to tell her sister that she has nothing to do about this. This was all their dad Larry Burge’s idea for Heidi Burge to play on the basketball team.

Heidi and Heather Burge will be at each other’s throats after this happens. They are fighting like sisters are known to do. They need to get over what happened and deal with what it is. That is easier said than done. Heather and Heidi Burge need to put in the socket.

They eventually must move thanks to Nicky Williams who was jealous of the two twin sisters of Heidi and Heather Burge coming to play for Palos Verdes High school girls basketball team. This will cause the girls to realize eventually what happened and they will have some growing pains with the team. The team will learn that this is all stupid. The Burge sisters and Nicky Williams will be playing with the rest of the team in New York City, and they learn that they have a lot of work left to do. As Galen Alderman tells the three girls of Heidi Burge, Heather Burge, and Nicky Williams they need to learn to work as a team. Yes, Heidi and Heather Burge learn to have a good relationship with Nicky Williams. As Nicky Williams tells them, you least have parents that are there for you and care enough about you to be there for you. She wishes she had what they had. This is why she was acting out in the movie because her dad is not there. The viewer does not know what happened to Nicky’s mother.

The movie will progress with team and the two twin sisters facing challenges. Heather Burge will get her ankle twisted as she was practicing wanting to be the best she can be. She is mad at her sister Heidi Burge having a better game than her that night. Her mother later tells her, there was a swimmer that was always better than me. You must do your best. Do not worry about if there is someone else better than you. Yes, that will happen. When I swam myself, I was not the best swimmer, not by a long shot, but I loved it, and I did my best. When I learned martial arts such as Taekwondo l learned that there was someone better than me, but I always did my best.

I will give you, my rating. I give the Disney Channel Original Movie, Double Teamed on Disney+, a 10 out of 10. It was fun and does an excellent job of telling the story of what happened to the two twin sisters of Heidi and Heather Burge. They do go to play college ball and later professional ball. This happened thanks to the twin sisters of Heidi and Heather Burge because they went to play basketball for Palos Verdes high school. This movie and the women that played basketball helps in showing girls that they can play sports, and they do not have to do just have to go in fields that is expected of them. They can play college ball and professional basketball. If players like Caitlin Clark, who recently broke Pistol Pete Maravich’s scoring record did not have influences such as players that came before her, who knows if the world would have gotten to see her play. She is an awesome player. These girls of Heidi and Heather Burge were awesome talents, and this does not hurt that they existed.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. Before I start this review, please subscribe to this channel, and hit that notification bell to be notified of any reviews at the bottom of this video. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing Deadpool 2 that is currently on Disney+. I will go over several topics in this episode. Deadpool 2 will take place after the first Deadpool. The question is why I am reviewing Deadpool 2, that is simple as Deadpool and Wolverine will come out this year of 2024, and it makes sense to review this movie of Deadpool 2 to help give a refresher. Deadpool will be hired as a contract killer, and he will be after particularly bad people. He will be in China and in other places around the world taking out prominent bad people. In one scene, he was dressed as a stripper, and he killed a person. He had the Whig and everything he needed to have a disguise. This movie will deal with him training as an X-Man and he must learn from Colossus that he needs family and that he must do what he must. He will meet Russell and at first, he does not want to protect the kid, but later, he decides to protect him as this will help in redeeming what happens to Vanessa. He wants to do a slow death from cancer. He will grow in this movie. Yes, he is still the merch with the mouth, and he breaks the fourth wall that he still talks to the audience in this movie. I will make a comparison to the Lizard and explain that later in this episode. I will give you my rating at the end of this review. I hope this episode will inspire you to read, watch, and learn.

Rest of review and rating of Deadpool 2

As was mentioned before, Deadpool feels bad about what happened to Vanessa in this movie. He is smoking a cigarette in this movie, and he shows Logan being impaled by the tree and he is upset at Wolverine. He says, Wolverine rode my coattails with the R rating, and he ups the Anty by dying in that movie. He says, ‘ guess what, I am dying in this movie as well. He tells the audience; “I want to see what I can do to die.” He throws the cigarette in the gas, and it blows up with Deadpool and his body apart. Because of his mutation, he can grow limbs. If you think about it, this is like the Lizard in Spider-Man. Why the Lizard? That is simple as Lizards can grow limbs back. If it loses its tail, it can grow it back and that is why the Lizard did in Spider-Man. Doctor Curt Connors lost his arm in combat, but he uses Lizard DNA to help grow his arm back. It backfires as it turned him into the Lizard and made him into a monster. This would be considered a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde situation. The Deadpool will feel bad about what happened to Vanessa.

Deadpool was with Vanessa after he had his adventure with killing. This is after he talked to Dopinder about Dopinder becoming a contract killer. Dopinder tells Deadpool that he would like to become a contract killer like him. He tells him that you have a purpose. I want to be your Kirsten Dunst to Tom Cruise like in Interview with the Vampire. Deadpool told Dopinder, “Let’s never speak of this.” Dopinder told Deadpool, you are my Tom Cruise. Deadpool tells Dopinder that you are my Kirsten Dunst. He goes into the apartment and sees Vanessa.

Vanessa tells Wade Wilson that the baby factory is open for business. This is after Wade Wilson gave her the Skee ball token. That is the reference to the first movie when Wade Wilson and Vanessa played Skee ball. Vanessa gave him the IUD, which is a device that keeps her from getting pregnant until she is ready to do so. This is when she tells him that the baby factory is open for business. This means that Vanessa can get pregnant. Wade Wilson tells her, “I want a little boy or a little girl.” To him, it does not matter. He is afraid of being a father because of his father, but Vanessa tells him that kids help us to be better than we used to be. Kids give us that chance. She is right that it is a choice in who we decide we want to be in this world.

Vanessa is right, that it is a choice. I do not have my own kids, but if I did, I would do my best to be a good father to them. It is that I just have not been lucky in finding the right woman. Wade Wilson and Vanessa were lucky to find each other. It is hard to find love, and you must be willing to stay with it. The viewer can tell they are right for each other and that is hard to find.

All this gets ruined when someone breaks into Wade Wilson and Vanessa’s apartment. Wade Wilson tells Vanessa to get down. She does, and he kills all of them expect one of the assailants. He misses it and hits the person with the cheese spreader. That person ends up killing Vanessa and Wade Wilson will jump out of the window and chases that person. That person gets away, but he later ends up being hit by a car. Wade Wilson pulls him out of the car, and he pulls him against him, and they get in front of a truck, and it kills him, but Wade Wilson survives.

The credits will start off with the feeling of a James Bond movie. It was the feeling that a viewer would see Deadpool 2 and the music of how a James Bond movie would start. Just like in the first movie, it has credits written by real villains. Choreography by Blind Al. It is the movie’s way of making fun of itself. It is good that it does this. It will get the viewer back to the story.

Wade Wilson will be at Blind Al, and he is looking for a reason to die. As Blind Al tells Wade Wilson that you will probably do something stupid, knowing you. Wade Wilson tells her, yes Al, you are right, I am going to do something stupid. He puts on his mask after saying that. He is in his Deadpool suit, and this is where it will take the viewer to the beginning of the movie, and he throws the cigarette in the gas barrel.

Wade Wison will be at X-MEN mansion, and he will be dressed in clothes thanks to Colossus. As Colossus tells him, you need family; you cannot afford to be alone. He has survivor’s guilt about what happened to Vanessa. As Colossus told him, you need to get over what you are feeling. Wade Wilson says, you think the studio would have thrown us a bone and given us another X-Man. The viewer will see Beast, and Beast will close the door to the room. Colossus puts Wade Wilson against the wall to knock some sense into him. He needed to be reminded that he is not alone, and he needs to get over his guilt. Colossus tells him that his heart is in the right place. You have a good heart. Wade Wilson hugs Colossus after he tells him that.

Wade Wilson will be sitting with Cerebro on his head, and he tells Colossus that it smells like Patrick Stewart. This is where the movie makes fun of the other X-MEN movies and itself. Wade Wilson tells Colossus; you have a mission. Wade Wilson later learns that Colossus wants them to go with them. It is hard, but Wade Wilson will get in his Deadpool suit. He later meets Russell at a facility that was torturing these kids that are mutants. This so-called Doctor tortures these kids that are mutants. The X-Men are going to help deescalate the situation. Deadpool realizes what this kid tells him after he stops him from hurting people. He realizes he cannot let this kid go back to these people. He shoots the people after calling one of them Jared Kushner. Colossus will later jump on and tells Wade Wilson, you are not judge, jury, or executioner. Wade Wilson tells Colossus that this kid is abused; you can always tell. I fight for what is right, and sometimes that means you must fight dirty. He is right, sometimes there is no choice but to do what you need to do. Colossus is disappointed.

Wade Wilson and Russell later get transported to the Ice Box. This is a better scenario than Russell going back to that man that is hateful individual. This so-called doctor would remind me of those white supremacists. There were these schools that were supposed to take the Indian out of the Indian. I mean Native Americans. A good example would be in 1923, which I reviewed for this channel. I mentioned in that series, white people who used religion tried to take the Indian out of them. They considered them evil. This person in this movie is doing it with these kids who are Mutants and telling them there is something wrong with them.

Wade Wilson will later meet Cable at the Ice Box. He told the kid earlier, without my powers, I am Hawkeye with a bow and arrow. His only superpower is cancer. Wade Wilson will wonder why Cable with the winter solider arm is after him. This makes fun of a lot of the different Marvel content. Cable and Wade Wilson will have a fight. Cable will tell Wade Wilson; he is from the future. He asks Cable, is a dupe step still a thing. Cable tells him dupe step is for pussies. Wade Wilson, you are so dark, are you sure you are not from the DC universe. This will cause Wade Wilson to be thrown out of the prison, and he will have the collar off. He is in the water, and he will try to get to Vanessa in the spiritual realm, but she tells him that his heart is not in the right place. She tells him that kids give us a chance to be better than we are. He realizes that he needs to rescue the kid.

Wade Wilson will be in his Deadpool suit and with Weasel his friend that works at the bar. He and Weasel will be working toward getting the X-Force together. This team will have characters such as Vanisher, Domino, and other people that are on his team. They will have Peter that has no power on the team. They will go after the convoy that is transporting the prisoners from the Ice Box to another prison. This will end in a disaster as most of the team ends up dead expect Deadpool and Domino. Deadpool will run into Juggernaut. Juggernaut will break his legs after Deadpool mentions each issue that Juggernaut has been in such as in a Thor comic. He will later grow his legs back like the Lizard does in Spider-Man in how he grows his limbs back.

As not to be revealed, nothing more will be revealed here; it does bring the viewer to the climax of this story.

I will give you my rating, I give Deadpool 2, a 10 out 10. I know there are people that like it and those that hate it. I personally believed that this movie was done well, and it was a fun movie to watch. It does well in Deadpool breaking the fourth wall. He had a scene with Cable when Cable told Deadpool that he had one charge to get here and one to get back home. Deadpool will tell him that he says that it is lazy writing. The movie does well in making fun of itself and stays true to Deadpool’s character.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway, Before I start this episode, please subscribe to this channel, and hit that notification bell to be notified of any videos at the bottom of this video. Thank you. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing Marvel’s Deadpool that was done by 20th Century Fox and is currently on Disney+. When Disney bought Fox, it gained the rights to the X-MEN and Fantastic Four characters. They also got access to the unedited versions of the Star Wars movies. It is a question of whether people will get to see that, but that can be explained in another episode. Deadpool is known as the merch with the mouth. Why am I reviewing Deadpool? Because the movie Deadpool and Wolverine will come out in theaters in July of this year of 2024. I already reviewed Logan on this channel. Deadpool is also a character that breaks the fourth wall. He talks to the audience and likes She-Hulk which I reviewed for this channel; he knows that he is a character in someone else’s story. The reason he is called the merch with the mouth, is like Spock would have said in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home is that he uses colorful metaphors. This means Deadpool uses foul language. He is known for cursing. He will say words like motherfucker, fuck, and shit. This is his character. When he was done in X-MEN Origins: Wolverine, his mouth was sewn up and people got mad at Fox for doing that. It looks like Marvel Studios in the trailer of Deadpool and Wolverine are going to keep Deadpool as he was in the first two Deadpool films. He knows he is talking to the audience. In the first Deadpool film, Deadpool will talk to the audience, and he is after Francis for ruining his good-looking face. Remember Wade Wilson got cancer, and he must get treatment to help with that. Mutation is the only thing that saves his life. It made him ugly, but he is alive. He escapes from Francis as Francis planned to sell him as a super slave to be used by other countries. I will give you my rating at the end of this episode. Rest of Review and Rating of Deadpool

Wade Wilson is fighting with the people on the interstate. This movie makes fun of itself, as produced by Asshats. Directed by overpaid Toole. This movie is not meant to be serious, and this is good. He will be with the cab driver and is looking to find Francis. As he shows the cab driver, Francis made him look ugly, and he wants to make Francis pay for that. He tells the cab driver to let him off here. He told him he would give him a high five as he does not have his wallet while he is working. It will leave a bulge in his pants when he has a wallet in it. Deadpool gets out and he will jump off the bridge once he sees the car that he is looking for. It will cause it to go into another car, and it will have a lot of other cars to get damaged on the interstate. Wade Wilson is after Francis. He kills the other man. He shoots 12 bullets. He makes a joke in the air while in the SUV. Did I forget to turn the stove off? How many of us have done that? I will have that feeling that I left the cooktop on and realize later that I did not do more times than not. He will throw one of the men on top of the highway sign and that will kill person on the impact of that hit. There is a scene where Deadpool will put the 2 swords in one of the men. He will say to the audience; my boyfriend told me that this was a superhero movie. He is acting like one of the girls. He says, “I am not a superhero. He has always operated on the gray. In the ultimate Spider-Man, which you can watch on Disney+, Spider-Man tells Deadpool, you are a mercenary. He is. It is simple.

He will later flashback the viewer to before he becomes Deadpool. Wade Wilson was in the military, and he served in the Special Forces. If the viewer thinks about this, Wade Wilson is a play on Slade Wilson who is Deathstroke, and he served in the military as well. He is a mercenary like Wade Wilson. Both are good with guns, and both are good with swords. That is ironic when you think about these two characters. Wade Wilson is Marvel’s version of Slade Wilson. They both deal with death. They are both known to be killers. Wade Wilson is not going to be like Spider-Man or Bat Man who will not kill his or her enemies. Both Deadpool and Deathstroke tend to kill their enemies. Yes, Deathstroke tends to be a villain, but he is a gray character himself. He is not always a villain. Both Deadpool and Deathstroke can be antiheroes.

Wade Wilson will be with his friend Weasel, played by TJ Miller. Why does TJ Miller sound familiar? He is familiar as he was in Big Hero 6 and played Fred who ends up being the son of a superhero. His dad will talk to Fred and tell him at the end of the movie that we have a lot to talk about. TJ Miller was in Transformers: Age of Extinction, and he played well in that movie. Weasel will help his friend Wade Wilson. He is a bartender in this movie. Wade earlier helped a girl with a stalker, and he threatened to kill this guy, if he did not leave her alone. While in the bar, he meets Vanessa and his relationship with her will start from there.

Wade Wilson will be with Vanessa for quite some time. He and Vanessa have great chemistry. The viewer can see that. Wade Wilson will ask Vanessa to marry her when it is Christmas. He will look at her and pass out. He later is at the doctors, and the doctor tells him that you need to get treatment. Vanessa tells Wade Wilson; we can fight this. Wade Wilson tells her that he has cancer in the brain, lungs, liver, and prostate, all things I can live without. No, he needs to have those to live with. I can relate to this as my mother had breast cancer in 2001 and is a cancer survivor.

The one that looks like Agent Smith comes to the bar and asks Wade Wilson if he wants to get help and become a superhero. Wade Wilson rejected him at first. He realizes he needs to get treatment for his cancer. He decides to do this for Vanessa, so she does not have him as a corpse. He will go there and meet Ajax as he likes to call himself. Ajax is funny as he got that from dish soap. Wade Wilson will find out his real name is Francis. As he told one of the other patients named Cunningham at the hospital, there is no way his real name is Ajax, he got that from dish soap. Ajax can also be used as a powder as well as dish liquid. Wade Wilson made a joke about not making the suit green or animated. As viewers know, he was making fun of a movie that Ryan Reynolds starred in called the Green Lantern. Green Lantern was slammed by critics. It was a bad movie.

Wade Wilson will later get turned into the uglier version of himself. The stress that he was put through caused him to mutate. As Ajax tells him, he must put Wade through this stress for you to mutate, or if that does not work, you will die. He injected him with a serum that was going to cause his mutant gene to become active. He will later escape from there. Wade Wilson will call him Francis. Francis wanted to sell them as slaves to be used by their buyers.

Wade escapes from there and he encounters Vanessa. He sees her but does not encounter her. He hears people talking about him while he keeps the hood up to be sure no one sees him. He is afraid that Vanessa will not accept him. This is like when Ben Grimm in the 2005 version of Fantastic Four wanted to see his wife and when she does; she runs away from him as she cannot accept how Ben Grimm looks. This is different as Wade Wison avoids Vanessa and does not approach her.

Wade Wilson will encounter his friend Weasel, and this will be where he will show him what he looks like. Weasel will tell Wade Wilson; it cannot be that bad. Wade Wilson shows him, and Weasel says you look like an avocado. Weasel also tells Wade Wilson; you also look like Freddy Krueger. You can star in your own horror movies. Weasel also tells Wade Wilson that you should wear a mask. Weasel tells Wade Wilson you need to produce your own code name. One name came up such as scare devil which makes fun of daredevil. Captain Deadpool. No, just Deadpool.

Wade Wilson makes his costume. The suit will be white to start with, but later it will be the red suit that fans know it to be. It is remarkably like how the 2002 version of Spider-Man had Tobey Maguire in a different Spider-Man costume, but it will be the ones that fans expected that costume to be. In the white suite, Deadpool gets blood on it, and he is told by the blind woman named Al at the laundromat to use lemon with Selzer water to get blood out or wear red and she calls him a dumbass.

Wade Wilson later creates the red suit, and he will be looking for his enemies. He will later catch us up until he gets in the cab with Dopinder. He will later get us to Al and tells her that you are blind after she tells him that love is blind. Wade Wilson does not have any faith that he will get Vanessa back since it looks like he does. He makes the joke; did Ryan Reynolds get where he was without his good looks? He says no to that.

The movie will progress, and Stan Lee will have a cameo in the movie as he is playing a DJ in a strip club that Vanessa is working at. Angel Dust, who is played by Gina Carano, will be with Francis and they will take Vanessa prisoner.

Deadpool will get help, and he will pack up all the guns. He puts them in his backpack. He later will get help from Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. It is a play on words like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It will lead to a battle that will be epic.

As not to be revealed, nothing more will be revealed here. It does bring the viewer to the climax of this movie.

I will give you, my rating. I give Deadpool 10 out of 10. It was fun and this movie honors the character of Deadpool. He is the merc with the mouth. He breaks the fourth wall as he talks to the audience. He knows that he is a character in a story. It is remarkably like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off when he talks to the audience. He is like Deathstroke that they both can kill with a sword and a gun. Wade Wilson is forgetful, and he needs to figure out his path. It is a typical struggle for a character. He will figure out that love is blind and if a person genuinely loves you, they will love you no matter what.

In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing the audio version of Star Wars: Stories of Jedi and the Sith by Disney Lucasfilm Press. Copyrighted in 2022 that you can get to amazon or get to your local library. This story came out at the time when the Obi-Wan Kenobi series was released on Disney+. I reviewed this series on my channel. These are collections of stories of Jedi and the Sith that go from the Prequels to the Sequel trilogy. Each chapter in this book is short stories, and they tell a story from the perspective of time and space that it takes place in that story. I will explain each story in various parts of this episode. These will have stories from Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and it will have one going to Rey as well. This is an excellent listener, and it does have a book to read, if you want to read that as well. I will leave a link to that in the description below. Thank you. Rest of Review and Rating of Stories of Jedi and Sith

The first story starts with a young boy wanting to be a Jedi, but he lived below the ground. He was considered vermin and not worthy of any status. This is something he wants to change and hopes to become a Jedi. He was considered a thief and a girl who was the same age as him. The girl and the boy are both 14 years old. She tells him that you must do more to prove that you are a jedi. The boy feels he must prove something and hopes he can prove it to Master Yodi. He sees Master Yodi, but the Jedi Temple guards are after criminals that came from underground. He runs as he is afraid; they will arrest him if he stays. He runs and gets clothes from a shop that makes him look like a Jedi. He confronts the criminals trying to take the same 14-year-old girl and rescues her. She thanks him and later she stands up for him when the temple guard wants to arrest him. Master Yodi tells the boy when he thinks that it is not a rubric that makes a Jedi; it is the desire to learn. Master Yodi tells the girl that he will be your student. The girl and the boy ironically both come from the underground. They have a lot in common, and this will be an interesting relationship.

The second story will consist of Qui-Gon Jinn, and he was sent by the Jedi Council to help with the recovery of a young Jedi that has lost her way. He must go to this planet and rescue her. Ironically, Qui-Gon Jinn is lost as he is upset with his old master, Count Doku, who strayed from the path. He must figure out how to not let this cloud his judgment. This will not be easy for Qui-Gon Jinn, but he must do this. This girl depends on him to rescue her. He must deal with a queen that is difficult to deal with. He gets help, but he is betrayed by one of the queen’s soldiers. He must figure out how to get her out. He does, and the story will end the way the reader thinks it will.

I may not remember all the stories in order as this had 12 chapters. This book contains 11 different short stories in this book. This is understandable as I may not remember the exact order of this book. This may be the third or fourth story in this book. One of the stories consists of an adventure that Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi take. They are on this planet, and they stumble upon a girl and a boy who are stranded and are about to be killed by the droid army. They rescue this girl and her younger brother who is 6 years old and is telling his older sister that he can sense his family. He tells her he can sense where his parents are. She tells him that Mom and Dad are dead. There is no hope in finding them. She believes that her brother cannot possess the force since he is not a Jedi. Anakin Skywalker believes the 6-year-old boy and encourages Obi-Wan Kenobi; we must look for their parents. Obi-Wan Kenobi tells the girl that the force resides in all living things. It is possible to think this boy may be right about this. Both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker agree; this is worth the risk, and they must find the parents of these 2 children. They find the children’s parents and rescue them. This story proves that no one is too young to make a difference. It is good that Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi encourage the 6-year-old boy that he is not too young to do so. This is a lesson for the older sister as one is never too young to make a difference. This is the lesson that this young girl learns. If I had to guess her age, I would say she is at least 14 years old. The girl reading this story sounds old.

This may be the fourth or fifth story in this book. This is where one of the jedi is doubting why the Jedi are fighting in the clone war. This story is about the battle of Genesys. This Jedi has nightmares about this battle. It is understandable that she has a PTSD. She wonders if it makes sense for the Jedi to be fighting in the clone of war. As one of the other Jedi tells her, if we do not stop the separatists here, it will only create more problems for the galaxy. She must trust that Jedi is on the right side of history here. It is not easy, but one must do what is necessary. She may understand what she must do, but she still has doubts about the Jedi fighting in the clone war.

This may be the fifth or sixth story in this book. Darth Maul is searching for the Sith Temple. The Sith Temple has powers and artifacts that he could use to destroy his enemies. He is having visions of others that are dead. He did not die against Obi-Wan Kenobi in that battle on Naboo. He is alive. This is also explained in Rebels why he is looking for the Sith Temple. He believes if he can destroy his enemies, this will vindicate what happened to him. He wants to destroy Obi-Wan Kenobi and his old master, who is now called Emperor Palpatine. He sees Qui-Gon Jinn, and Qui-Gon Jinn tells him what will happen when you get your revenge. Will this be it, or will there be a new enemy? Revenge is an addiction, and it is a poison as it will poison your heart, and you will always want another enemy to destroy. This is the lesson this story teaches.

This may be the sixth or seventh story in this book. Darth Vader searches for a rebel amongst the Empire on a planet that the Empire needs to funnel their military operations. Darth Vader is upset amongst the imperial officer who oversees this operation. He tells her, “You have an insurgent amongst you.” She tells him that it is impossible. She tells him she would know if any insurgent existed amongst them. Darth Vader tells her, you lack imagination. Darth Vader looks for the rebel insurgent, and he encounters a creature that is half a cat and half a dragon. Darth Vader kills that creature before that creature can kill Darth Vader. Darth Vader encounters the insurgent, and it is a teenage Wookie. Wookies can live to be 200 years old. She could be 50 years old and considered a teenager. She works to destroy the dam to disable the Empire. She has a fight with Darth Vader. It will be a challenge, but it is possible. She, with the help of the Rebels, will do just that in terms of destroying the dam and hurting the Empire in the process. Darth Vader will be mad to say the least.

This may be the seventh or eighth story in this book. Luke Skywalker will be on the planet called Hoth, and he is with a guy that is hard to deal with. This story takes place between New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. He thinks that all Jedi causes more problems than they solve. They get trapped when ice falls and in a cave in, although Luke does not have his light saber as it was being treated for pathogens. That is understandable. The Rebel Alliance does not want any pathogens that can harm life on the planet. Luke Skywalker feels that might have helped him if he had access to his weapons. He must use the force to get them out of the cave in. Luke jokes that this guy never smiled in his life. He was one of those that is serious and could never make a joke or even laugh. This is a fun and funny story. The reader will enjoy this story.

This may bey eighth or ninth story in this book. Emperor Palpatine sits in his throne room on the Death Star as this will take place at the time of Return of Jedi. He can remember the scene back in Revenge of the Sith when he fought Master Yodi. Master Yodi thought he could take him on, but this is a mistake as Master Yodi learns that he is stronger than he thought. Master Yodi later flees to his home in Dagaba. It will return to the scene in Return of Jedi, and he tells Luke that it is his time to die as he will be going into forever sleep. Luke tells Master Yodi, you cannot die. Master Yodi tells Luke, “Strong am I with the force, but not that strong. That is the way of things, the way of the force.” Yodi warns Luke not to underestimate the powers of the emperor. He lets Luke know that there is another Skywalker. The emperor is in the throne room will sense that Master Yodi died and Yodi will appear in front of the emperor. This is right before Luke and Darth Vader come into the throne room. The story will end here.

This is the eleventh story of this book. Poe and Rey are on supply run for the Resistance. They are getting supplies such as clothes and food to help the resistance be able to eat. Poe and Rey are arguing about a fruit that Rey had on Jocko. During the argument, BB-8 gets taken by insurgents that live on the planet. They must rescue BB-8, and this will force them to work together if they want to save BB-8. This is where Rey and Poe must learn to trust each other. It will not be easy but a valuable lesson to learn.

I will give you, my rating. I give Star Wars: Stories of Jedi and the Sith by Disney Lucasfilm Press copyrighted in 2022, a 10 out of 10. It was fun, and it does an excellent job of connecting the Star Wars Universe and helping to fill out plot points that needed to be answered. The Prequels needed this help, and the stories helped to do this. It also does not hurt the original trilogy and the sequel trilogy that these stories do this. You understand these characters better than the reader did before they read this book. It does help this comes with an audio version if a person travels or prefers to do it that way. This book is a fun collection of stories that tell remarkable stories and the person who reads or listens to them will not be disappointed.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. Before I begin this review, please subscribe to this channel, and hit the notification bell to be notified of any reviews at the bottom of this video or blog post. Thank you. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing The Marvels on Disney+ done by Marvel Studios. I will go over several topics in this episode. The movie will begin with Dar-Been played by Zawe Ashton. She has a weapon commonly used by Cree. It was used by Ronan the Accuser in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie. It has a flat edge on top and can be used to fire off energy as well as wields like a sword for example. In one of the pictures that will come up, it will have Dar-Been holding the weapon down on the ground like a walking stick. Moncia Rambeau refers this weapon to be a hammer, and that was my thought as well. It is called Universal weapon as mentioned by Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the movie. Dar-Been is after planetary resources to replenish Hala after Captain Marvel destroyed the Supreme intelligence. Dar-Been was calling Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers the annihilator. She is wearing the bracelet that is like Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel’s bracelet. Dar-Been told the Cree their goal must be to help restore Hala at all costs. The holes that she is making in space and time are having consequences. In the movie, they compare fracking to how it can cause quakes but in space. This is a revenge quest for Dar-Been as she wants to make Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel pay. Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel will learn from Monica Rambeau that it is okay not to be perfect. She thought she had to fix everything herself, but she did not. Kamala Kahn with Monica Rambeau will help to show Carol Danvers does not have to do everything herself. This review will set out to prove that they do become The Marvels in this movie. This review will also prove that a war over resources is not new. This has been fought for centuries in human history. I will leave a page from Wikipedia about a resource war. Here is a quote From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

A resource war is a type of war caused of conflict over resources. In a resource war, there is typically a nation or group that controls the resource, and an aggressor that wishes to seize control over said resource. This power dynamic between nations has been a significant underlying factor in conflicts since the late 19th century.[1] Following the rise of industrialization, the number of raw materials an industrialized nation uses to sustain its activities is heightened.[2]

A good example of a resource war is the fight over oil. The war in Kuwait is a good example of this. Iraq invaded Kuwait over oil and at the time the United States had to protect their interests. Even today, most people use cars that use gas. It will be 20 to 30 years before; most people will be driving electric vehicles, and it will not require oil. Chances are there will be a resource war over lithium. It is considered a rare earth, and it must be mined to find it. As long as greed exists, this problem will exist. This happens in Marvels as Dar-Been is looking to steal air, water, and any other resources from people to give to her people. She believes that she has the right to do this, and in the process to make Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel pay.

Dar-Been needs two bracelets to have the power that she craves to do what she needs to do. She will steal air from the Skrulls when they were on Tarnax and she will later go to a planet called Aladna that reminds the viewer of Hawaii. The inhabitants dress like Hawaiians do and they sing, and those individuals must sing. Prince Yan can sign, but he also can talk like the rest of them.

Kamala earlier in the movie will be fantasizing and drawing her comics and it will be like Middle School: Worst years of my life. I mentioned this in the Ms. Marvel reviews that I did for this channel. She has an imaginative mind. She sees things and they tend to come to life. She wants to make a difference and has a big heart. She wants to help as many people as she can. When she is on the planet Tarnax where the Skrulls, she wants to save everyone, but Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel tells her; we must save who we can. The planet was going to collapse, and they needed to get out of there with how they had it. That is true. Dar-Been in this situation is taking the air from the Skrulls. She claimed they come in peace, but it was a rouse at best as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel tells them.

Earlier in the movie, Kamala Kahn gets transported to the space station in Monica Rambeau’s place and they must figure out what is going on. Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel gets transported to Kamla Khan’s room, and this is where the fun begins. It is fun for the viewers watching the not for the people going through this. They must figure out what is going on. It keeps getting them transported until they get to Tarnax. This is where Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel along with Monica Rambeau with Kamala Khan will be fighting to save as many Skrulls as possible on Tarnax. Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel asks Valkyrie for help. Valkyrie tells Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel; it looks like you finally have a team. Not by design as Carol Danvers tells Valkyrie. Valkyrie tells, her; I have been on plenty of teams that were not by design. It does not mean you can stand tall without standing alone. Valkyrie takes the Skrulls to a place where the Asgardians are staying.

Kamala Khan told them that Dar-Been had a bracelet like her and Carol tells Kamala and Monica that the bracelet is called a Quantum band. Carol thought it to be a myth, but now seeing it shows that it is not a myth. Carol Danvers along with Monica Rambeau, and Kamla Khan put on the Skrull torture device that is an easter egg to Captain Marvel. It was used on her by Talos to help her and show her that the Cree stole her memories and made her into their weapon in the movie Captain Marvel. They go back and find clues they need to see. They go back to when Monica Rambeau lost her mother to cancer. Monica Rambeau was blipped and when she came back, her mother was no longer there. This is when Monica Rambeau decided to take it off as the memories are painful. After they take off the Skrull torture devices, Kamala goes to Monica and gives her a hug. She encourages Carol to do the same thing.

Back to Aladna, the prince of Aladna will help Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan with getting the suits they need for battle. The prince of Aladna refuses to yield to Dar-Been. This is the right move. The Cree were ruthless and why would they want to go back to the Cree? Dar-Been will use the universal weapon with the Quantum bracelet to open holes in space and time to travel to various parts of the Galaxy. She is stealing the water like she did with air on Tarnax. Kamala Khan will learn how to use the suit as she flicks the scarf and acts as a weapon. She learns to use her powers as well. Dar-Been is after the water. Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel wants to stop her, but Kamla Khan presses a button and sends them to a planet that is a desert planet. Kamala Khan told Carol Danvers that she was only doing what she did on Tarnax. She told Carol Danvers; “I cannot let them get my bracelet.” This is where Carol Danvers let us know along with Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan that this is happening because of her. She told Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan that the Cree on Hala were controlled by an artificial intelligence called the Supreme Intelligence. She destroyed the Supreme Intelligence because she thought it would set them free, but it made it worse. It caused the planet to go into a civil war, and they lost their air and water. They had to wear masks earlier in the film before Dar-Been stole the air to get for Hala. She told Monica Rambeau that she could not come home until she fixed this. Monica Rambeau told Carol Danvers that it is not how family works. I did not want you to be the mighty Captain Marvel; I wanted you to come home. This where both Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan helped Carol Danvers realize that she does not have to this on her own. They need to work together to fix this and make it better.

The Marvels will get to the space station, and Nick Fury will tell them that they have been having problems with little devices around the station of Saber. Saber is being disabled by these devices. They must figure out how to get these people off. Goose will have other cats that have tentacles inside. Just like real cats, they have a litter. Cats in real life are a little bitter and can have multiple cats at once. This happens to dogs as well. This will be good as they can use these cats to be able to transport the crew. They will eat the crew, which will allow them to transport multiple people at once. This will work to their advantage.

Monica Rambeau will tell Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Nick Fury that Dar-Been is after our sun. She wants to extract the energy of the sun to restore the sun of Hala. Nick Fury will take the family of Kamla Khan down to the planet along with the cats. They get to Manhattan looking on to Statue Liberty.

Monica Rambeau along with Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, and Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel must stop Dar-Been. The battle will be epic.

As not to be revealed, nothing more will be revealed here. It does bring the viewer to the climax of this story.

I will give you, my rating. I give The Marvels done by Marvel Studios on Disney+, a 10 out 10. I disagree with the other ratings that this movie was given. This movie was fun, and it told an exceptionally relevant story. It shows the dangers of a resource war, and how other civilizations will try to steal resources from other civilizations for wealth and power. What Dar-Been is doing is not to just save Hala, but for Hala to be restored to greatness. This is where the Cree Empire was stretched everywhere across the galaxy. They are setting up other possibilities in this movie. It will have a character at the end of the movie that has been in a series done by Marvel Studios. Who is that character? Please leave your answer in the comment section below. What other characters are coming into the MCU? Please leave your answer in the comment section below. Both Monica Rambeau and Kamla Khan helped Carol Danvers realize that she does not have to do everything alone and that is good. It is never good when we try to do things ourselves. With help, Carol Danvers will defeat the enemy thanks to Monica Rambeau and Kamla Khan.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing Marvel’s Logan that is currently on Disney+. Logan will take place in 2029, this will be in the future, when this film was released in 2017. It will have Logan AKA Wolverine as an older man and Professor Charles Xavier as an older man. This is 29 years after the events in the first X-MEN film. It is just Charles Xavier, Logan, and Caliban. Caliban is an albino who can sense other mutants. He can track them as he can sense other mutants. He must cover up completely or he will be literally burned by the sun. The sun can kill him. Albinos can never have any part of their skin exposed, or they will be burned. The movie shows this as there will be a scene where one of the villains uses that weakness to his advantage. He exposes Caliban to the sun, and it burns him. It could kill him. This is a form of torture. What this review will set out to prove is that the experimentation of Laura, who is X-23 is being used as a weapon. It will also set out to prove that the experimentation on these children is no different than eugenics. Eugenics was experimentation of people that societies like here in the United States, Nazi Germany, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Rome where it is believed that human beings could be improved upon. It is the idea that there was something inferior to the other races of human beings because they were considered different. It is a twisted idea, and this is what is happening to these children. They are not considered people; they are considered as weapons to be used by the government. These experiments are illegal, but that has not stopped people. Whether it is right or not, people have done this throughout time. There is a page on Wikipedia about Eugenics, and I will leave it in the description below of this video or blog if you are on my website or my Patreon Page to learn more about this. Logan is feeling the brunt of being old. In the beginning of this movie, he is not able to heal like he used to. He is attacked by those who try to steal his car. He kills them, but he is shot, and he is not healing as fast as he used to. This is the result of the Adamantium in his body is starting to kill him. It has been killing him slowly. The metal in his body made him into a weapon, but it is starting to eat his body. His ability to heal helps with that, but eventually no one can endure this forever. The metal is indestructible, but it makes sense that this is not good for him. He is driving a Cadillac. He is having to hide in Mexico as he has been treating Professor Charles Xavier. Charles Xavier is old, and he has seizures and because of his powers when he has them, they are deadly to others as well as himself. His telepathic abilities make it so when he has them, it causes him to have others feel what he is feeling. This means that he can kill this people, whether he means to or not.

A woman named Gabriella who is of Mexican descent was working for Transign who was doing these horrible experiments on these children and turning them into weapons. This is very similar to Eugenics, where people believed human beings can be improved upon. She pleads with Logan that she needs his help. She reminds him that you are good, and you want to do the right thing. Logan has always been a gray character. In the first X-MEN film, he was by himself. He believed that Magneto was not wrong that a war was coming. He is elderly and is doing the best he can. He has been working as a driver to make money. Gabriella promised Logan that she would pay him $50,000 if he helped her. Logan is uncertain about this but knows he could use the money to help Charles Xavier in his treatments.

The person with the metal hand and his name is Xane. Xane is not after Logan; he is after Laura who is a mutant. Logan wonders who Laura is, but believes it is not his problem. Charles Xavier tells Logan; Laura is more than you think she is. They get attacked by Transign and they must escape before something bad happens. Something bad happens, and they must get out of there. Laura is X-23, and she has claws like Wolverine that are metal. These metal claws can kill people and she use that to defend herself against these attackers. Laura wants to get to North Dakota. Earlier in the movie, Gabriella is dead, and Logan must figure out what happened. Logan must escape with Professor Charles Xavier, and Laura. Caliban is taken prisoner by Xane and Transign and will be tortured by Xane using his weakness of being exposed to the sun as it can kill him. As Charles Xavier tells Logan, Laura is your daughter. She has your genetic makeup.

Logan will later learn once he gets a charger at a convenience store that Gabriella was part of a group of scientists at Transign that wanted to create a new set of weapons out these Mutants. This is the Eugenics part of this story that is being told. As stated, before in this review, Eugenics is the idea that human beings can be improved upon as there must be something wrong with them. There is nothing wrong with people because they are different. This is the lie that is told by the powerful, so they can stay in power. The powerful will use fear and hate to stay in power. They will get the masses to fight with each other instead of realizing what the real threat to their lives is. Logan sees the video and realizes the horrible things that happen to these children. He is reluctant because he is old and does not have the same energy that he used to when he was younger.

Logan will be driving on the road, and he ends up in Oklahoma. Logan will be at a casino with Charles Xavier and Laura. They are there at a hotel that is in the casino. Logan must trade the car for another one since they are being chased by Transign. While Logan is out, Charles Xavier will have a seizure and it is causing his power of telepathy to influence others. It is giving the people in the area there a seizure like he is feeling and if Logan does not get there, he could kill the people in that are there. Logan kills the people that are around Charles Xavier that are after Laura. Logan gets the medicine in the needle and injects it into Charles Xavier. He must get Charles Xavier and Laura out of there. They are lucky to escape.

Logan is on the interstate when he realizes that he could almost hit a vehicle. There is a family that has a truck that has horses in it. Charles Xavier has Logan realize that they need to help this family. They do and after they do that, that family invites them to their house for dinner. Logan insists that Charles Xavier and Laura need to stay at a hotel. The family tells them that you do not want to do that. There will not be a place to stay for several miles. You want to stay here. Logan is reluctant to do this, but Charles Xavier convinces him to do this.

As Logan fears, Transign finds them, and Logan is out with the owner of the house to help them with the water being turned off. This means whoever is a bully claims that he can do whatever he wants. Logan helps the owner with this to fend off the bully and his thugs. Transign gets into the house and kills Charles Xavier. They made a weapon that is a clone of Logan. Laura tries to fend this clone off but is having trouble with this clone.

Logan will be coming back as the clone of Logan is killing not just Mutants, but the family as well. Logan must figure out how to save himself and Laura before this gets worse. The clone kills the bully as well. He chops the head of that person. Logan gets Laura and they escape. Caliban blows himself up with the soldiers of Transign in the vehicle. He figures it was no win scenario, so he believes this will be better if he does this.

There is a comic called X-23 which describes Laura and how she became who she was. In this book, it will be a collection of different issues. It will show Laura, known as the X-23, was designed to be a weapon and this makes it hard for her to move on from that. I will a link of that comic in the description below.

Laura gets Wolverine to a doctor. The doctor saved Logan AKA Wolverine. The doctor tells him, you need to go to a hospital. Logan tells the doctor that you do not want to do that. If you do, you are dead. They leave there. Laura insists that she needs to get to North Dakota to get to Canada. Logan tells her that this place of Eden does not exist.

Logan takes her to North Dakota and gets here there. He passes out and must be pulled up to the place where the children were staying.

As not to be revealed, nothing more will be revealed here. It does bring the viewer to the climax of this story.

I will give you, my rating. I give Marvel’s Logan on Disney+ a 10 out of 10. It was fun but tells a powerful story. It shows the dangers of experimenting on people just to make them better. The powerful wanted to create weapons and this is what happens here in this story. It is the old story of the powerful doing horrible things for the greater good. As the page of Eugenics says, this is nothing new. It was believed that you can change it for the better. This is cruel, and there is nothing wrong with how people are. Everyone is special, and until people realize this, this will only continue.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. Before I start this review, please subscribe to this channel and hit that notification bell so you never miss a review. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing Marvel Studios Echo Season 1 that is currently on Disney+ and Hulu. This is a Disney+ Original and what is amazing is that this series has a Mature rating, and it is done by Disney+ not Hulu. Usually series like Dopesick, and Only Murders in the Building are done by Hulu. They are the Mature series that is done and do not forget that Hulu is owned by Disney. If fans of Marvel believed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe needed a fresh series or movie, this series does that in so many ways. The series is the answer that Marvel needed for so many reasons. It has a diverse character that is deaf, an amputee, and is of indigenous nature who first appeared on the Hawkeye series that I reviewed for this channel. The actress Alaqua Cox is deaf, an amputee, and is of indigenous nature like her character in this show. She plays herself. She finds out by Clint Barton who was Ronin the Assassin that he was hired by Kingpin to kill her father and that Kingpin wanted her father dead. Maya Lopez realizes Kingpin is not who she thought he was. He manipulated her to be his weapon and used her for his dirty work. This is what this review will set out to prove. This character is of Native American origin. She is part of the Choctaw Nation that is in Tamaha, Oklahoma. It is good that Marvel has this series set in a small town like Tamaha, Oklahoma. Most of the characters like Peter Parker, Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Kate Bishop, Danny Rand, Bucky Barnes, or Steve Rogers are from New York City. This is a change that Maya Lopez who is Echo is from this small town of Tamaha, Oklahoma. This needed to be done. It is true that Sam Wilson is from Louisiana and is not from New York City and Peter Quill is from Missouri. The people that are involved in this series collaborated with the Choctaw Nation. This is good because they did everything, they could do to make this look authentic. This is important because if you do your homework and you know everything you can about that culture, it only makes the story richer and gives that realistic feel that you are trying to tell. It is impressive that Marvel did this. The other series that did this is in Longmire, 1923, and Joe Pickett that had Indigenous/Native Americans in their stories. Marvel took it to another level, but it does not take away what those series did. 2 of the actors were in the Longmire series. Their names will be revealed later in this review. Emotional, spiritual, and Mental pain are a theme in this series. There are 3 characters in this series that the viewer can point to in this series. They are Maya Lopez, Chula, and Wilson Fisk. They are all connected to each other. The connection will be explained in this review. I will also use my automobile accident that I suffered in 2005 as an example of understanding this pain that these 3 characters are going through in this story. I will give you my rating at the end of this review. I hope this episode will inspire you to read, watch, and learn.

Rest of Review and Rating for Season 1 of Echo

It is very important for the viewer to watch the Hawkeye series on Disney+ as this will give you the viewer the background that you need to watch this series. This series will start off with Chafa and her people being made of clay. You will see a woodpecker and it is called Bisknik and it helped to warn the tribe against enemies. It will carve out warnings in the tree. This is very authentic to the Choctaw Nation culture. They believed that we started as clay and later escaped a cave and became human beings. This is on a website that I will leave a link in the bottom of this video or blog. You can check this out and learn about their culture. You can learn about stick ball which was in the second episode of this series. That is how they play the game as you can learn about reading and watching a video about stick ball. Each episode will lead to the culmination of Maya becoming Echo and she will go through a hero journey. She believes that she wants power, but it will come at a price. When you trust a devil like Kingpin, you will get false gold. It usually does not turn out how people think it will. She shot Kingpin in the last episode of the Hawkeye series. It will show a recap of that in the first episode of the Echo series.

Here is a short to give insight into Echo:

When they talk about Chafa, Maya Lopez is with her cousin Bonnie in the tent when Maya Lopez is 7 years old, and Bonnie looks to be about the same age at the same time in 2007. This starts that year in that episode Tamaha, Oklahoma. Maya’s father, William Lopez, Taloa, her mother, Skully, her grandfather, and Chula, her grandmother as they were sitting around the fire telling stories. Chula and Skully later leave and as they were going home Chula has a vision that something bad will happen. It later starts to rain, and this causes Bonnie and Maya to go back inside the house. Maya Lopez asks her mother for hot chocolate. Her mother tells her that they are out. They later go to the store, and this is when her mother and her get hit by oncoming traffic and her mother dies. They get T-boned because of the brake cable being cut. Maya Lopez will lose her leg as a piece of glass gets in her leg. Maya Lopez is not only going through physical pain but emotional, spiritual, and mental pain. This will cause Chula to be mad at William Lopez and she blames him for this. She told him that she would never forgive him for Taloa dying. This will break Chula and make her closed off to people. Wiliam Lopez is played by Zahn McClarnon who was in the Longmire series and played the tribal police chief. He was in the Hawkeye series in the 3rd episode of that series. The actor who plays Skully is Graham Greene and was in the Longmire series and he played Malachi who was the villain. Graham Greene was in Wind River, and he acted beside Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen in that movie who both play Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch in the MCU.

This will lead to New York and scenes from the school when Maya was 7 years old will surface. The scene with her father will surface as Maya was asking about dragons. This will be the Hawkeye feel that the viewer experienced in this first episode of the Echo series. Maya will be at the Cemetry after her father dies and it is like when Harry Osborne lost his father at the end of the first Spider-Man, the 2002 version of that character that starred Tobey Maguire. The picture will show Peter leaving the gravesite, but it is right after Norman Osborne dies. It will lead the viewer to the point where Maya Lopez realizes the truth about Wilson Fisk, and she later shoots him in the eye.

It will be 5 months later, and Maya Lopez will need help from her uncle Henry Black Crow Lopez. Yes, being named after an animal is not unusual. In the Longmire series, Henry Standing Bear, who is Walt Longmire’s best friend is a common name for Native Americans. In 1923, Teonna Rainwater was another name. Being named after animals or other elements of nature is common in the Native American folk lore and culture. Maya Lopez used dental floss, and this helped her in stitching up the wound from the gun shot that she suffered. This is very similar to Night Nurse in the 1st season of Luke Cage, when she sewed up Misty who is a detective for NYPD with dental floss.

Henry tells Maya on the water tower that he will not bring a war to Tamaha. Maya tells Henry it is time for a queen.

Earlier in the 1st episode, Maya Lopez aka Echo will fight Daredevil and she does better than Kingpin thought she would. As Kingpin points out to Maya Lopez, no one has ever held their own against him, like you did. She and Daredevil were adversaries here, but later they become allies against Kingpin. It is true in the Marvel comics as there is a series called Daredevil and Echo that will help the viewer to understand the dynamics of Daredevil and Echo. I will leave a reference to that series in the description below in the video or the blog post if you are reading this on my blog.

Each of these episodes will help to culminate in Maya Lopez becoming Echo. The 2nd episode will deal with Lowak and this is where they will be playing stick ball in Alabama in 1200 and this is accurate to history as the Choctaw Nation was in Alabama before they ended up in Oklahoma. Lowak will get frustrated, but she will channel Chafa and she will find the strength to help them win. The game was very authentic. The game is like Lacrosse. If you have not watched Lacrosse, there are plenty of options to do so. It is played at the collegiate level in both Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse. Lacrosse was developed by native Americans and according to Wikipedia; it uses a stick and like was shown in this episode with stick ball. Lacrosse is played with a stick that has a net in the top portion of it and you must catch a ball in it, and you toss the ball to the other player to make a pass. You must toss the stick with the ball in it to the goal and get in the net to score a goal. A good movie to watch is Invisible Sister as this will show Lacrosse being played in that movie. When Cleo must take her sister’s Molly place after Molly is made invisible, Cleo must play Lacrosse, and finds out that she is better than she thought she was. Lowak realizes that she must help her tribe to win this match to keep them from being banned from those lands.

Maya Lopez will use that vision of Lowak and Chafa to help her in getting away from the train. She puts an explosive in the train and later blows up the DX-9 in New York. Henry Black Crow Lopez will encounter Maya Lopez and tell her you are starting a war. Maya Lopez tells him that there is a war. She tells him, “I will say when it starts, and when it stops. This is not chaos, this is power.” As Henry Black Crow Lopez tells her, you sound like Fisk. Maya gains a vision after she gets a text from Bonnie, and she wonders why Maya did not tell her that she was in town. Bonnie will find out from Biscuits that she was in town.

The third episode of this series will feature Tuklo. She is the daughter of a Light horseman who are part of the tribal police. She can be a great shot and she was very accurate when she threw objects and could hit them. The beginning of this episode reminds the viewer of a silent film, as there is only music, and no dialogue; there are only texts that tell the story they tell in this flashback. Tuklo will tell her father that she wants to be Light horseman. Her father will tell her, that women are life givers, and men are life takers. She tells her father that what good is it to give life, if I cannot protect it. That makes sense. Is a woman more than just giving birth to children? Of course, she is more than that. She is a person and can do more than just give birth to children. Maya Lopez will pull from Tuklo. She later must get out of a situation where she can die but is saved by a phone call. The fight scenes were awesome and showed how good a fighter Maya is. Yes, it can be done. There are people who do flips and crazy stuff. My martial arts training says yes, this can be done.

The 4th episode of this series will deal with Maya’s grandmother Chula giving birth to her mother Taloa who is considered a healer. Chula will explain to Maya that the ancestors will communicate with you when they are needed most. Maya always believes that her grandmother Chula did not want her around. Because of what happened to Taloa when she died of the result of being T-boned. This broke Chula’s heart. As Maya tells Chula, you chose yourself. Maya needed her grandmother, and her grandmother Chula chose herself after Taloa was killed. William Lopez later goes to New York and later gets killed by Ronin the Assassin who was used by Kingpin to kill Maya’s father. Kingpin will offer Maya Lopez everything. He promises her an empire. Henry Black Crow Lopez tells Maya Lopez that Kingpin is the reason I am 45 and alone. He tells her you cannot trust him. It is no different than when Satan offers Jesus Christ everything, but Jesus Christ sees the lies of Satan and does not accept his terms. Maya Lopez will reject Kingpin and Kingpin is mad. Kingpin showed Maya Lopez the hammer which is a reference to the first season of Daredevil when he killed his father with it. His father did beat his mother, and he killed him to stop him. Kingpin thought he was getting free of the pain inflicted by his father. Instead, the pain turned Kingpin into a monster.

The fifth episode will be called Maya, and this episode will culminate to her becoming Echo. Culmination is the meaning of when a story gets to the climax. Maya Lopez realizes that she must go back home to Tamaha, Oklahoma. She will get to her childhood home, and she finds her mother standing there. Her mother knows that she has been hurting and her mother Taloa tells Maya that it is time for your pain to go away. Maya Lopez tells her mother Taloa that she can’t, she does not know how to get my pain to go away. Her mother tells her that she will help her. She tells her your ancestors will help you. Remember your gifts of love, sacrifice, strategy, and courage. It was made into this suit which was designed by her grandmother Chula. The battle between Kingpin and Maya Lopez will be epic. It will have the audience hear from her perspective and it will help give that feel if the viewer were deaf. This is good. Maya Lopez will touch Kingpin and force him to go back to the pain of when he was a child. Maya Lopez tells him to let go of his anger, but he does not want to. Pain has become his life and uses the pain as an excuse to be the monster that he has become. How does this fight end? Drop your answer in the comment section below. Pow Wow was awesome, and it was cool to see it in this series. Henry Black Crow Lopez will come up big as he will shoot Zane and keep him from hurting innocent people as well as Biscuits. Biscuits helped Maya in the 2nd episode during the train attack as Maya was planting that explosive on that train. Biscuits will use his monster truck to crush the vans to be sure they were not going to cause any trouble at the Pow Wow. Does Maya reconcile with her family? I will give you, my rating. I give Marvel Studios Echo Season 1, a Disney+ original, a 10 out of 10. It was fun, and it was very well done. It is important to show that problems like what was shown in this small town happen and you do not have to be in a big city for that to happen. The series does an excellent job of explaining how emotional, spiritual, and mental pain can affect people. Each person in this world has some difficulties in his or her life. I can relate to Maya in this series since I was T-boned like her and something like what happen to her can stay with you for a long time. She believes it was her fault that her mother was killed. Kingpin uses the pain of her father’s murder to become his weapon. As Clint Barton tells Maya, “When you are filled with rage. You can be used.” He tells her your boss wanted your father dead. Kingpin believes that when he killed his father with the hammer, he was free. That is the irony, he was not, it is an illusion at best. He finds out that it is still there, and when Maya Lopez caused him to face it, he wanted to run from it. He is a coward when it comes to that. It is hard to face one’s pain, but it takes courage. I hope that I personally have gotten better, but I am not sure. I take it each day at a time. Life will never be easy, but if we realize as Maya’s mother was telling Maya, you are not alone. This means we are not alone; we have friends and family that love us. It is never good when we try to do things ourselves, especially handling things like bad events that happen to us. Marvel did a great job of doing their homework and getting collaboration from the Choctaw Nation. It made this series more believable, and it is a great way to teach people the history of these wonderful people.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing Death Comes to Marlow (A Marlow Murder Club Mystery) by Robert Thorogood. This is a series of books that revolve around 3 women who make up the Marlow Murder Club whose names are Judith, Suzie, and Becks. This is the British version of the Women’s Murder Club that is written by James Patterson. The women names in the Women’s Murder Club are Lindsay Boxer, Cindy Thomas, Claire Washburn, and Jill Bernhardt. Jill is later replaced by Joki later in the books. They made a TV series of the Women’s Murder Club that came out in 2007 and had 1 season. It was done by ABC, and it would be great to see it on Disney+ or Hulu since Disney would own the rights to this series. This author authored this book also has a series that was done by BBC, and it is called Death in Paradise. This book will start with the death of Sir Peter Bailey, but Judith is not convinced that it is not an accident; she is convinced that it is murder. This case will be a puzzle, but this will be to Judith’s strength, since she does the crossword in the Marlow Free Press that comes out in paper in every issue of the paper. This will allow her to see the clues that she needs to see once she is able to make sense of them. There will not be a bunch of pictures in this review since this is a book review. Rest of Review and Rating of Death Comes to Marlow

The 1st Person of Interest in this story is Tristram as he has motive to kill him because if his father Sir Peter Bailey marries Jenny Page who was his father’s nurse, then she would become Lady Jenny Bailey and have the money that she so craved to have. Tristram will be mean to Jenny, and this will cause Judith to be suspicious of him and make him a good person to look at for this murder. The police are ready to call it an accident, but Judith is not convinced that it is. Judith is invited to this party by Sir Peter Bailey when he is concerned that his son Tristram was trying to kill him. This sparks Judith’s interest, and she decides to go with Becks and Suzie who are her best friends and part of the Marlow Murder Club with Judith. Judith is the puzzle master of the group as she can see things that are not there, and she has a sense when something feels off. It helps that she does the crossword in every issue of the Marlow Free Press. This helps her to see the clues to Sir Peter Bailey’s death and it is odd when Judith, Becks, and Suzie go to the kitchen they find that the olive oil can has been used and it was used to make the door easier to open to Sir Peter Bailey’s study. Tristram is entitled and believes the money should be his no matter what. He wants Jenny Page out of the house, and believes it is once his father breathed his last breath. As the attorney who is handling the estate for Sir Peter Bailey, the will must be probated, and he knew that Sir Peter Bailey had a new will to be drafted. The attorney knows this as he witnessed it as well as the gardener Chris Shepard.

Sir Peter Bailey will die once the cabinet falls him or so it appears to be. The death will be a blunt force trauma. This usually means an object must fall on him for it to be so. Judith will see that things will not add up and the search for the killer, and the new will must begin.

The detective that oversees this case first is named Tanika and she is acting as the DI until that person comes back from holiday. She wants to see all the facts before deciding what to do. She will believe that it is murder, but the one who was on holiday and his name is Garreth Hoskins. He is incompetent and does not know what he is doing. He is quick to call this death of Sir Peter Baily an accident before he sees all the facts in this case. Tanika will have to deal with her father at home that always asks her for help even though she has other siblings that could help. Tanika is the only daughter and there is a belief that the woman is supposed to deal with problems in the home even if the other siblings could help. In terms of hierarchy in society, the males have the upper hand, and the females have the lower hand. This will be true of Rosana.

Rosana is the 2nd Person of Interest in this story as she was there, and she never has had the benefit of being recognized by her father. She is the one that does all the work for the Estate to run smoothly, but she is always looked down by her father. She wants to feel that her father appreciates her. Tristram was interested in acting, and never did the challenging work of running the estate.

Chris Sheppard is the 3rd Person of Interest in this story. The stuff that was in the study on the cabinet that fell on Sir Peter Bailey had stuff that was invented by his grandfather. Sir Peter Bailey’s father denied Chris Sheppard’s grandfather has just due as he took the credit for the invention that his father made. This would make sense that Chris Sheppard would want to murder Sir Peter Bailey for what happened to his family. Chris Sheppard is guilty of something, but not murder. What is he guilty of? Please leave your answer in the comment section below.

The 1st wife of Sir Peter Bailey would be the 4th Person of Interest in this story. She would have a bone to pick as she was divorced by him and Tristram has a soft spot for his mother as well. They could have been working together to want to murder her former husband of Sir Peter Bailey. She was later seen walking in the garden toward the room at 3 p.m. This will help Judith to see the clue to the puzzle to who the killer is.

Sarah Fitzherbert, who was Tristram’s girlfriend, is the 5th Person of Interest in this story. She would have a particularly good reason to help Tristram to kill his father Sir Peter Bailey. She wanted the title of Lady Bailey so that she could have the security of not having to work. There is one flaw to this as it is proven that she was somewhere else when the murder took place. Where was she at the time? Please leave your answer in the comment section below.

Kat, who is dating Rosanna in this story, is the 6th Person of Interest. She is an activist that is concerned about climate change. As it is said, there is no planet b. It is not like humans can migrate in space to another planet. Kat knows that Rosanna is wronged by her father by not getting the money but believes that money ruins lives. This does not mean that she could not committed murder by killing Sir Peter Bailey for Rosanna. She has an airtight alibi. What is that alibi?

Jenny Page, the one who was marrying Sir Peter Bailey, is the 7th Person of Interest in this story. Why would that be? It would be counter intuitive that she would kill her husband to be before she could marry him. You think she would wait to kill him after she is married. Jenny Page confesses to Judith, Becks, and Suzie that she wants the money from Sir Peter Bailey. She is convinced once the will is found, she deserves the money. The will was found in the compost bin, and it would make sense if the gardener Chris Sheppard would done this but did not. Andrew Husselbee, the attorney handling the Estate of Sir Peter Bailey tells Jenny Page that the will cannot be torn up if it is to be a valid will. The will that left everything to Tristram would be the valid will. It will make sense that Tristram is the killer, but did he act alone? Please leave your answer in the comment section below.

The book has twists and turns and what the reader thinks he or she knows, the reader does not. It will cause the reader to produce their list of suspects and like the 3 women of the Marlow Murder Club, the reader will have to be a great puzzle master like Judith to see all the clues. Becks and Suzie as well as Tanika will be an immense help in catching the killer of Sir Peter Bailey. It will end in a remarkably interesting way.

The story will answer the questions the reader is seeking, and it will get to a climax. As not to be revealed, nothing more will be revealed here.

I will give you, my rating. I give Death Comes to Marlow (A Marlow Murder Club Mystery) by Robert Thorogood, a 10 out of 10. The story is complex, and the answer is not always as obvious as one might think. It is good that Judith does the crossword in the Marlow Free Press because it will help her to see the clues that she needs to see to catch the killer of Sir Peter Bailey. There will be clues in the fireplace that will help. The clue when Lady Bailey, the first wife of Sir Peter Bailey. The trail in the garden helped Judith to see what she needed. As she would tell Becks and Suzie that the clue would be answered at 3 p.m. She needed to be at the time to see what she needed to see. It will give her the answer she needs. Her friends will catch on and will be an immense help as well as the detective Tankia who will pretend to be all mad at Judith so Judith can be alone with the killer to get a confession from the actual killer. Who is the actual killer? Were there 2 killers? Please leave your answers in the comment section below. The writer of this story read Agatha Christie and it makes sense when the reader reads this book, it has an Agatha Christie feel to it. She was never obvious, and it would always be a twist to her stories.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be reviewing and analyzing the book called Paws to Remember: A Magical Cats Mystery book by Sofie Kelly. You can read this book on Amazon, listen to it on Audible, or read it and listen to it from your local library such as the physical book, CD, or digital version of the book or audio version. My mother checked this book out from the library, and let me read it, and I was glad she did. I immensely enjoyed this book. Once you start this book, you will not want to put it down. You want to get to the end of the story and find out what happens. This is skillful writing when a writer can hook the reader in this way. This book is about Kathleen’s best friend Maggie who has her store flooded and because a flood happens, it reveals a body of a woman who has been dead for 36 years. This story will open questions about this young woman, and it will reveal things that the killer of this victim does not want to come out. This book will cause the reader to develop theories and there are 3 suspects that make the most sense. Their names are Byran James, Jake Anderson, and Ann McKinnon. I will give you my reasons to why they are the most logical suspects, and you will come to understand why that is the case. I will give you the main characters to let you know who the magical cats in this story are. I will give you my rating at the end of this review. I will not use a whole bunch of pictures in this as being a book review is harder and it is easier for me not to have to do that. Thank you for understanding. Rest of Review of Paws to Remember: A Magical Cats Mystery and Rating

As was mentioned before in this review, this story deals with a murder of a young woman who was believed to be a runaway. The book will let you know her name is Lilly Abbott. She was pregnant before the murder, and she later gave birth to her daughter whose name is Ella King. She was adopted by a nice family, after she was left that night on Christmas Eve. The pastor of the church could not refuse her, and he waited 2 days for the mother to show and when she did not; he looked to put her up for adoption. The child, whose name is Ella King, ended up with a great family who loved her. This story takes place in Mayville Heights, Minnesota. They say there are several factors of cold. Cold is cold, but there can be degrees of worse cold.

Kathleen has 2 cats whose names are Hercules and Owen, and yes, they are magical cats. They can teleport and do things that normal beings cannot. They have a knack for pointing Kathleen in the right direction. Kathleen’s cats are special, and she has a knack for getting people to trust her. Kathleen is engaged to Marcus Gordon who is a detective for the Mayville Heights Police Department. Marcus Gordon, like Kathleen, has his own special cat. His cat’s name is Micah, and yes, it would be easy to assume this cat is male, but it is not, it is female. Micah, like Hercules and Owen, has special powers and can-do things, a normal being cannot. This makes this fascinating and fun to say the least when you have beings that can do special things like this.

Ella King asks Kathleen to help her find out answers to her birth mother Lilly Abbott and how she died. She wants to know what happened and to have the DNA test to find out if Lilly Abbott is her biological mother. She wants to know what happened and this came to be.

Taylor, who is Ella King’s daughter, asks Kathleen to help her mother Ella to find out if Lilly Abbott is her biological mother. Kathleen agrees to help, and she knows that she will have the help of her special cats Owen and Hercules. She lets Marcus Gordon, her fiancé, know that she will be looking into this, and she will give him information that will help him solve the case.

The information that Kathleen will need is from Emily Abbott who married Lilly Abbott’s brother Tim who worked for a newspaper. He never believed that his sister ran away, and once Kathleen meets with Emily Abbott, she agrees to help her so Kathleen can find the answers to what happened to Lilly Abbott at the time of her death. Tim Abbott is dead, and Ella King will never get to know her uncle either. In this story, it seems to Ella the only one alive that had any relations to her mother is Emily and Mila.

Mila will be an immense help to Kathleen. Mila was holding out at first, but later was ready to talk to Kathleen. Just when Mila is ready to talk, she is later attacked and in critical condition at the hospital. It is an attempted murder, but as Maggie says, there is no way Mila would kill herself. Once Marcus Gordon, Kathleen’s fiancé looks at the crime scene, he agrees there is no way that is possible. It was staged to be an attempted suicide.

The first person of interest is Bryan James, who dated Lilly Abbott back in high school 36 years ago when this story takes place. It is believed that he is a good person to start with since they broke up and got back together and broke up again. It was a high school romance and most of them ended up like this. Bryan James is a middle school teacher now who teaches Chemistry. He is contributing back to society. During that night, he is said to be not involved in the murder because he and his best friend Jake Anderson were drinking that night, and off partying. There is a videotape that helps prove this, but it is missing, and needs to be turned up to prove this story.

The second person of interest is Jake Anderson who ends up becoming a structural engineer, who Lilly Abbott had an argument about boys’ and girls’ sports. Lilly Abbott was telling Jake Anderson it is not fair that boys’ sports get more attention and better training facilities than girls’ sports. Unfortunately, that is true today. Female sports have more recognition, but it is still the case that male sports are more front and center. As Jake Anderson said to Lilly Abbott in the book, “This is how it is. Male sports draw more crowds than female sports and it is unfortunately how it is.” Lilly Abbott is aware of this, but it does make it right. It is unfortunate, but this is how the world works. There is work to be done to make the world a better and fairer place. Life will never be completely fair, but if there are those who are willing to fight for what is right, then it will be. It will never be perfect, but it can be better than it is. Jake Anderson had a crush on Lilly Abbott, and this is why he is a person of interest in this story. He has motive and makes him a credible suspect. Jake Anderson’s alibi is Bryan James, but they need that videotape showing they were drinking at the time of the murder of Lilly Abbott. The videotape must appear for both Bryan James and Jake Anderson to prove that they are innocent.

The third Person of interest in this story is Ann McKinnon. She was on the volleyball coaching staff at the time. She was young at the time that she graduated high school when she was 17 years old. She was 24 at the time the murder took place 36 years ago. She is 60 years old now. She is being difficult with Kathleen and dodging questions. She says she did not make a promise to help Ella King to figure out the answers to what happened to her birth mother. Kathleen must challenge Ann McKinnon to a hockey match to get her to talk. It works and Ann McKinnon tells Kathleen what she knows, but not all of it. Ann claims that she would have known if Lilly Abbott was pregnant at the time. There is no way that she could have hooked up with a boy and had sex with that quote boy. Anything can happen, and if a teenager wants to, they can figure out how to do something they are not supposed to do. Ann McKinnon left out details to Kathleen about skills she had, and claims she has no idea about how to do something medical.

The story does well with twists and turns. The book will have funny statements like, Pizza is not cat food. That is true, there are certain things that cats cannot eat. Cats are not supposed to eat onions as it can be poisonous. They are not supposed to drink the milk that one sees in cartoons as it can give them the runs.

This story can be made into a fun movie or TV series. You just need to have the right special effects and with CGI, it can be done. I watched a movie called Grumpy Cats: Worst Christmas Ever, and it had the cat talking through her mind. This means Grumpy was telepathic. Another good example is Sabrina the Teenage Witch, is where Salem used to be a man, but was punished to be a cat because he wanted to take over the world. The proof it can be done is in the first X-Men film where a kid teleports in that story. It can be done and does not have to be cartoon, not that a cartoon would be bad, but there are ways to do it as Live Action with CGI.

I will give you, my rating. I give Paws to Remember: A Magical Cats mystery book, a 10 out of 10. It was fun, and like I said earlier in this review, you do not want to put this book down. How it ends is unexpected. It will have Kathleen needing help in the end, but it will come in a way that the reader does not expect. It is good that the story does come with an audio version for a person who travels or likes listening to stories. The killer will be one of the 3 people that are the top suspects. Who kills Lilly Abbott and tries to kill Mila in this story? Please leave your answer in the comment section below. The killer will not be who the reader thinks. That is all that will be said here.

In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be doing something different this time, I will be giving you my thoughts on Christmas Movies, Books, TV Series that I like or do not like. This will be the last video that I will do for the year 2023 before I have another video or blog post in January of 2024. The most probable day that I will have a video or blog post be public will be January 19, 2024. I need to take this break to recharge my batteries and to work on innovative ideas that will be helpful to the channel. I will give you a list of movies, TV shows, and Books that I like and dislike. I will give you the content that I like first and tell you why, but there will not be a ton of pictures that come up. I will just show the picture of the movie, TV show, or book that I like and the same will go for the content that I do not like. I hope this episode will inspire you to read, watch, and learn.

Rest of my presentation of Christmas content

This is open to content that I reviewed for this channel as well as content that I have not reviewed for this channel. This will allow me to promote content that I currently have on this channel as well as test out latest content ideas and see if you will be interested in this latest content for this channel. I will now give the content that I like first as stated before.

One of the movies that I reviewed for this channel is By God’s Grace which is a modern retelling of the Christmas Carol which I love the story of the Christmas Carol and that I enjoyed watching. Christopher Taylor, who goes by Chris, lost his parents and his 10-year-old sister in a horrible automobile accident that involved a drunk driver. Chris suddenly feels down during the Christmas season and believes that work is the most important thing and that he should work all the time and that this is all that matters. He believes that only investments that return a monetary return are the most important thing as he told his friend Samantha who goes by Sam. She was in love with him and still is. Chris still loves her, but the tragedy has clouded him, and he uses work to avoid the pain of that tragedy of the automobile accident that involved a drunk driver that killed his parents and his 10-year-old sister whose name is Grace. Chris will get a visit from his 10-year-old sister Grace and will learn the true meaning of Christmas. She will act as Marley, the ghost of Christmas past, present, and future instead of having 4 different spirits. Grace will have Chris see as Samantha was telling him about that investing in tomorrow there is a return not just money but people becoming productive citizens of society and loving people does pay you back, not in money but with love returning to you. Chris realizes love is the most important thing and money does not buy that or friendship. He will realize that he allowed himself to be alone, and that it is not an effective way to live life. Each person needs to have friends, and no matter what happens, you are not alone even despite the darkness. Grace becomes Grace to Chris, and she helps him to heal from the tragedy of losing her and his parents to the automobile accident that involved a drunk driver.

Another movie that I enjoyed that I reviewed for this channel is Christmas Again that is a Disney Channel original movie. This movie stars Scarlet Estevez and she plays Rowena who is experiencing a time loop, and that movie borrows the idea from Groundhog Day that starred Bill Murray where he kept reliving that day until he got it right. The one of the other movies that does this is the 12 Dates of Christmas which is an ABC family original film, and the character of that story is going through 12 Dates which does a time loop, and she must figure out who she is supposed to be with in that movie. Rowena is reliving Christmas all over again. She is upset with having her family change. Rowena wants things to be like they were. She gets blamed for all the things that go wrong. She realizes when things happen as they do, and the events did not happen like they did; Rowena believes that she can do what she wants and will do what she wants. She checks off everything that she had on her list. She is reliving the day all over again and is realizing that she is going to that day over again. She wonders if it will end. It may seem great when the day is repeating itself and you can do what you want, but it is like being stuck in a prison. Another great reference is 12:01, as it was a device that shot at a beam and the day repeated itself, and one person knew about it. That person kept reliving that day and he realizes that it is not great. He felt stuck in a prison and wanted out. There is no freedom when time is repeating itself. Rowena realizes that it is not about getting her divorced parents back together, it is about helping others, not herself. She realizes that family is not blood, but it is who you love. Another great reference is the Spy Next Door where Bob tells the oldest child who is a 13-year-old female that family is not blood, it is who you love. And like Rowena, she understands this. Rowena is close in age as she is 12 in this movie. Scarlet Estevez does well with Rowena, and she has a way of bringing the viewer into the story no matter what medium it is.

A TV series that I enjoyed watching is Hawkeye Season 1 which is produced by Marvel Studios and was released on Disney+ from November 24, 2021, which is the Wednesday of Thanksgiving week till December 22, 2021.There are 6 episodes and they had 2 episodes come out on November 24, 2021. The question is why I am mentioning a superhero series in this episode. This series takes place during Christmas and would not be the first to do an action type story during Christmas. The 1s Die Hard is a good example of that and another is the 1st Lethal Weapon that does take place during Christmas. I did an actor analysis of Hailee Stanfield being cast as Kate Bishop and why she is the right choice to play Kate Bishop. This is one of the 1st series that I reviewed when I first started out on YouTube. This is where I reviewed each episode individually and that may be nice, but it means I am only doing a certain amount of content. Those 2 episodes work well together, and it felt like the viewer was watching a movie in those 2 episodes as they work simultaneously together. This is where Kate Bishop found the Ronan the Assassin costume and took it and started wearing it. Kate Bishop wanted to do what Hawkeye did and she met Clint Barton and when she was helping. Kate Bishop suddenly realized what it means to be a hero. She is gifted in Martial Arts and Archery. Clint Barton is still better in this series because of his years of experience. The track suit mafia worked for a particular crime boss. The clue that helped me is when the word Fat Man Used Cars came up in episode 5 of this series and this revealed Kingpin. Kingpin was called Fat Man in the 1990’s Spider-Man cartoon show. If Marvel does not do season 2 of this series, it is good that they are doing a spinoff series of Echo in which the character is a deaf superhero. She originally started as a villain in this series but will become a hero and realizes that Kingpin is evil. The Echo trailer shows Kingpin in white and looks like what he did in the 1990’s Spider-Man cartoon show. Her powers come from feeling vibrations, and she is very gifted at martial arts which an episode shows in the Hawkeye series. That is the 3rd episode of Hawkeye Season 1. The story does well in the fact, it makes the killer be a mystery, and you need a solid detective to be able to crack the case. Clint Barton is smart, and Kate Bishop is smart. She has a high moral code even despite her family. She and Clint Barton will develop a strong relationship down the road. Hopefully, you will see Kate Bishop and Clint Barton in another season or in anything else Marvel decides to do here. Both Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld have great chemistry, and it will be great to see them together in another Marvel Studios Project.

A book that I have listened to is called Christmas Presents which I have not reviewed for this channel. I enjoyed listening to this book. This book is psychological, and it involves a woman named Madeline Martin and she is the daughter of Sheriff James Martin. She lives in a small town and owns her own bookstore which is called the Next Chapter Bookstore. The title makes sense as books have chapters, and it has meaning for her. Madeline Martin is starting the next chapter of her life after her experience with Evan Handy. Evan Handy kidnapped her and drugged her while serving alcohol at a party. This is no different than being drugged with the rape drug of Ecstasy and it can have depilating effects which I mentioned in Joe Pickett Season 2 which is what happened to women that were given this rape drug. Evan Handy used a similar drug that has similar effects. He killed Madeline Martin’s best friend Stephanie Cramer during the party which takes place during Christmas. Madeline Martin was lucky to survive when she escaped to the river and left for dead. Her best friend Steve, which his friends call Badger, rescued her during that horrible night. Ainsley and Sam Wallace were taken by another person, and no one knows what happened to them. The other person involved in this took Lolly Morris who is a college dropout who is working as a stripper. This kidnapping of Lolly Morris will lead the reader to the other killer. Evan Handy is not innocent, but he did not act alone. The book is psychological, and it will have twists and turns. It will make a great series or movie.

A movie that I recently watched that I have not reviewed for this channel is called EXmas which is a freeve original. I enjoyed this story. This is a romantic comedy that stars Robbie Amell as Graham and Leighton Meister as Ali. Ali is Graham’s Ex-fiancé, and she broke of the engagement when she felt that he valued work more than her. It has a Christmas Carol feel with that being the case. Ali and Graham bet that one of them will get the other gone by Christmas. They fight with each other, but as the viewer will learn that they still have feelings for each other. There is a saying that sometimes love, and hate are 2 sides of the same coin. When that happens, Love and Hate are about the other side showing passion for each other or what that person does. Graham and Ali will realize that this fight that they have with each other is stirring up feelings that each one of them has not wanted to deal with. Graham will realize that work is not important, but life with the person that you love is important. That is an important lesson to learn.

Other content that I enjoyed is Feliz Navidad, The Santa Con, Noelle all content that I reviewed for this channel. Content that I have not reviewed is A Charlie Brown Christmas where Charlie Brown is depressed about Christmas and learns the true meaning of Christmas while directing the Christmas play at the time, he picks up a sorry Christmas tree that came out in 1965. A Garfield Christmas that came out in 1987 where Garfield goes to Jon’s childhood home and spends time on the family farm. Garfield is Jon’s cat, and he will learn the true meaning of Christmas as well and it is about love not necessarily getting gifts.

I will give you content that I do not like.

One of the movies that I do not care about is Christmas with the Kranks. This is where the Kranks wanted to go off to do a cruise when their daughter Blair decided not to come home for the holidays. The story does not work for me as I would prefer them to do what they can to have her come home. I am a sucker for letting all the family home for Christmas. I would have preferred it if the Kranks had challenged Blair to come home. For example, in the movie I will be Home for Christmas, the dad challenges his son Jake to come home. He promised that he would give him the Porsche. This is what I would like to see in this movie. If I have reviewed it for this channel, it will not get a great rating by me. If you like it, that is fine.

The one of the other movies that I do not care about is How the Grinch Stole Christmas which starred Jim Carey in 2000. The movie has flaws. I do not like the love story in this movie. I like love stories, but it does not work here. How the Grinch Stole Christmas fell off in this movie, and I like the original cartoon better because it has the spirit of what Dr. Seuss had in mind. To me Jim Carey does not work as the Grinch. It is hard to do that as a live action movie. The Grinch should be done as a cartoon movie. That is what they did with Benedict Cumberbatch and the trailer looked good for that movie. Grinch needed to understand Christmas and they did not need him to be a kid in school and have a love story with another person. This takes the viewer out of the story. He needed to understand that Christmas is not about gifts, it is about the love and joy that people feel during Christmas. It is necessary to say his heart grew. His heart was 3 sizes too small, but it grew because he saw the true meaning of Christmas. It would not get a good rating if I reviewed this movie.

These 2 movies are all I have for content that I do not like. It does not mean I could not tell you the other content that I like or do not like in something like this in Christmas 2024.
